Kirk Acevedo Fired From Fringe

Well, assuming that this is ACTUALLY Kirk Acevedo's real Facebook page...he just announced that he's been fired from 'Fringe'!
I can't believe it, I really liked him on the show! I was hoping it wasn't true, but Spoiler TV is reporting that they've already put out a casting call to find an actress to replace his character.

What?! Why? I just started getting into the show and really enjoyed watching him. There aren't that many Latino actors on TV so I was really excited . . .

Seriously? Just google it or something. Why bother commenting on a story if you don't even know what it is.
I really like his character on Fringe. He is one of their strengths. I hope this is a mistake or that they change their mind.

Should've known it was too good to be true: all the shows I liked got picked up, so of course one of the good (not to mention cute) actors on one of my favorite new shows gets fired. Just goes to show, you can't have everything...

they won't change their mind, because they know he'll come at them with a doozy of a pay day for himself. that would mean they did wrong. EGOS' PEOPLE, EGOS'. they will pick another ethnic person. woman and she will be BLACK . you go girl. I bet you anything.... look two really strong woman of the same race will defeat what the show is focusing on, pulling attention away from the lead character and finding it will be hard for people to focus on the show the right way. it will seem more like a cat fight for attention.
IN PLAIN WORDS...IT WAS A STUPID MOVE TO FIRE HIM. HE ROCKED IN HIS ROLL. GREAT SHOWS DO GO BAD AND THEN GO AWAY. switching actors in the middle of the hype of their rise, in it's peaked moments, is always a bad move. IT NEVER WORKS OUT. just give it time. THEY SEEM TO FORGET THE FIRST BLEND MAKES THE MIX JUST RIGHT.

Sad....I liked him and his character, too. It was nice to see Olivia had a bond with him. I hope they don't replace him with a woman. I hope they just bring him back.
It's incredible how the show's adm$$$$$$ risk a fallout from showlists. In real life u don't change a winn er combination. Fringe will never be the same without Kirk Acevedo, he's sexy , smart & compassionate in his role. Hope to see him again soon.
