Are Food Network Stars Giada De Laurentiis And Rachael Ray Feuding?
"Feud" may be too strong of a word. Yet chef Giada De Laurentiis admits that she and Rachael Ray aren't exactly the best of friends.
'Do we hang out all the time? No. Are we best friends? No,' De Laurentiis tells the June issue of Redbook.
'But if you're not best friends, people assume you hate each other,' continues De Laurentiis, who hosts a new show Giada at Home.
'We laugh about it,' De Laurentiis says. 'We do these festivals
together, and she'll say to me, 'Oh, we'd better take a picture
together and smile, because if we don't, God only knows what's going to
get written about us.' She's a lovely person.' "
I'm glad to hear this because I love them both! Rachael is fantastic for good everyday recipes, and if you ever want to do something fancier, than Giada's recipes are the best.
I wondered if this was over the 'Iron Chef' defeat Giada suffered when she and Rachael competed against each other, but I thought Giada was a bigger person than that ;)

I TRULY LOVE LAURENTIIS, she is amazing at her cooking and her presentation skills. I have to give her major props for the skills she brings to her craft. she is EXCELLENT. ...and "ray bland" is just that bland. She is an idiot and sound like a major moron on her show. Her voice is soooooooooooo ANNOYING. I have watched her show a few times and all her intelligent and cool guest all turn on her in some kind of sarcastic way, it's sad , but very true; Harry Connick, Jr. did it in a snotty way,you can tell she was taking some hits at him and he came at her with a force. She's a goof. i love classy woman and "ray bland"just isn't in a classy position. sorry!

RachAel. Please. I know it's a weird spelling, but you write about her frequently enough that it shouldn't be too hard to remember that extra A!

Both these women are amazing in their own right. I can see them not being the best of friends. They have VERY different personalities. But they are both beautiful, successful and seem happy. Not much of a news story...
