Well, you can’t say these two aren’t trying to work things out! Sean Penn reportedly filed a request today to dismiss his legal separation case, according to Marin County, CA court records.
‘This appears to imply that they’re reconciling again,’ says L.A.
divorce lawyer Lynn Soodik, who is not involved with the case. ‘It’s
unlikely Sean Penn would request a dismissal for any other reason.’ "
Robin Wright Penn is currently in Cannes as a juror. The couple first filed for divorce in December 2007 after eleven years of marriage but stopped the proceedings in April 2008.
Hopefully these two will be able to work things out!

It’s nice to see that they aren’t just throwing in the towel so easily. Marriage is hard work and with their schedules and lifestyle, I’m sure it’s quite trying. Hope it works out.
Problem is, his lifestyle seems to include screwing every actress in their 20′s he can get his hands on. I’m sure that is quite trying. So is the fact that after years of marriage, he tried to divorce her without any spousal support even though she basically stayed home and raised their kids while he was out protesting, acting, and screwing.

I’ve been a Robin Wright (Penn) fan since she first started out in The Princess Bride. I still can’t believe she married Sean Penn. He seems like such a creep! If they are happy, I hope they work it out. But I just don’t see Sean Penn as a man worth any woman’s time or energy to fight for.
Yea she needs to loose this creep and get herself a real man. He didn’t even thank her at the oscars. He thanked everyone right down to his dog tho.
They have clearly been working on their marriage for years, so I give them props for that. Very rare in Hollywood. However, its getting quite ridiculous. He clearly cheats and treats her with blatant disrespect. I feel like it is time for her to move on. She deserves to be treated better…
