Bikini Girl Strikes Back At Kara DioGuardi

We talked about what happened between Kara DioGuardi and Bikini Girl (Katrina Darrell) the day after the 'American Idol' final aired. Out of the 1193 who took the poll, 48% thought the judge looked great and saw nothing wrong with her swooping in and stealing Katrina's spotlight.
Well, Katrina doesn't agree.
"I think that [Kara] is a songwriter who wants to be an artist," Darrell said, "she just made herself look stupid."
And when asked what the difference is between Kara and the American Idol reject, Bikini Girl said:
"I'm not 50 years old and I spray tan."

Ah, but she WILL be 50 years old before she knows it - lol. DioGuardi rocked and she wasn't sporting fake boobs. AND, she can sing - unlike bikini girl....lol.
And Kara isn't 50 years old either. Born 1970. Can we say sour grapes and poor sport with regards to bikini girl?

Bikini girl made herself look stupid because girl cant sing, Kara sounded and looked amazing she stole the show. Bikini girl live with it!!!!
Bikini girl is not ugly and she does have a very beautiful body. Kara should not have to compete with a young girl; she has cemented herself in the music industry, she has nothing to prove. She did make herself look silly, women are always jealous of each other, always arguing and competing......take for example the women on this blog.
If you go back and look it up, you'll find that Kara was dared to do it for a charity. She doesn't have anything to prove which is obvious as soon as she opened her mouth out sung this girl.
Also don't make generalizations of the women on this blog. I for one can recognize and appreciate talent and give credit where credit is due.
bikini girl is clearly just looking for attention and thinks looks will get her anything. i think kara looked great and made bikini girl look like a fool up there. she wasnt doing it out of jealousy, it was for entertainment. obviously they had to rehearse that whole thing so they both knew what they were getting in to. even still, that girl deserved what she got. her arrogance and attitude was inappropriate when she went to go try out for AI. kara was not attacking her, but merely judging her, which is what shes supposed to do. bikini girl should have been more professional and taken the criticism like everyone else. sorry honey, you may have a cute body, but you need to work on your class a little more. the only attention your getting is from guys looking to take you to bed with them. gross.
If Kara is 50 then she looks damn good!! I think she's even prettier than the bikini girl. I think the bikini girl is jealous because all of the audiences were standing up screaming and cheering when Kara came out and she totally outshined her.
Kara didn't look stupid, she put bikini girl in her place and it was funny. Kara is talented and has made her mark on the music industry. Bikini girl is just a wannabe who got her 15 minutes of fame.

She might be young, but, sorry, I'll go with Kara, who in fact if she is really 50, looks like a thousand percent better than Bikini Girl. BG looked like an idiot on stage, lost in all of her crazy delusions and should go back on her high horse and disappear into oblivion. We are not jealous of BG, because there's nothing to be jealous about. She's just one in a billion other young girls trying to be famous.
I believe Kara is in her late 30's, she looks great, I didn't know she could sing so well, kudos to her. Bikini girl will be 50 in no time, minus talent and class.
Can't be sure it is correct, but IMDB says she was born 9 December 1970. That makes her 38. In my opinion a very good looking 38.

I thought it was great fun when Kara came out to sing. My husband was sure that Katrina was in on the whole thing. If so, Katrina's a good actress. lol
I never thought much of Kara, one way or another but now I love her and think she's a good sport and a very good singer.
For me, for Kara, for me, I thought it was the highlight of the show, Dawg. lol
She did an interview and she said she wasn't told ahead of time.

At least when Kara came out to sing, we got to listen to someone who wasn't hurting our ears. And Kara is beautiful, and truly talented. Bikini girl is big into self-aggrandizement.
As my mother once said, "If she could sing she wouldn't have to walk around in her underwear." (she was talking about Madonna).
Bikini Girl looked incredibly stupid up there, still trying to compete when Kara was singing circles around her. Did she not see the Clay Aitken fan go through the same thing a few years ago? How embarrassing for that simple minded girl.

This girl sounds like her feelings are hurt. The poor thing was probably really waiting to get up there and show her stuff but honestly you can't expect people to treat you like more than a gimmick, a cheap entertainment trick when that is how you're making your name known. What did she expect? She walks around in a bikini for attention and then expects to be treated differently. Not going to happen. Brought her down a couple notches.
bikini girl does NOT have a great body. she's just an average girl with the body of a 14 year old... straight and no curves. and that boob job... horrendous! she needs to go back to the plastic surgeon and ask for a refund. kara out shined her and made her look like a fool!

I think Kara was great! I didn't think Bakini Girl should have made it as far as she did. I think people like her cheapen the whole idea of the American Idol show and she was just there for laughs.
Hopefully, when she reaches 50 she will have grown up and stopped being so annoying; however, people who are that way never change.

Personally I still can't shake off the impression of the judge being insecure and competitive. She ought to know better than to be, herself, so rude.

I don't mean to say she isn't talented or slander her online- just to express that something about her own conduct struck me as more unacceptable than bikini girl's. The camera captured something catty and mean spirited she never redeemed herself for.
The meanest part was that they never told Katrina, and made her prepare for a solo. If she had been in on it, then all would be fine and light-hearted...and instead of proving she had a fine body and upstaging a contestant in singing, she'd be proving that they'd settled their little feud and that she's less of a grudge holding, competitive (words above) person...a truthful and honest personal opinion...
