Lauren Conrad Says New 'Hills' Star Kristin Cavallari Will Be Great For Show
She said it two seasons in a row, but I guess Lauren Conrad really isn't returning for another round on 'The Hills'. The actress is very excited about her replacement Kristin Cavallari and thinks the reality star will do the show justice.
Making her debut on the Season 5 finale on May 31, Kristin is ready to take over where Lauren left off.
"I think if they were going to carry on the show, they've lost about half their main cast, and they need to make up for that and I think she will be very great. I think she will give the show the boost that it kind of needs."
And what about Audrina Patridge? How much longer does she have? Lauren says she isn't sure how much longer her friend has left in her. Hmmnnn - no Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad or Audrina Patridge?
Any guest appearances planned for Lauren? As of right now, the answer is no.
"I was done and I walked away and I wanted to end on that note," she said.
So how does she feel about leaving? Lauren says life has been great.
"I thought it would be a little more difficult but it's been really great," she said.
"It actually hasn't been that weird not having them around and I've
enjoyed the 'me time' a little bit. I've gotten to spend more time with
friends and family which has been nice, and I'm very happy with my
decision to leave and I think the timing was right."
Will you watch 'The Hills' next season?

Even though the show started out about LC's move and new job it really has turned into something that is more about her co-stars. She really started the pull back in the recent season and sort of phase herself out of the picture. Kristin is great a creating drama so I'm sure there will be something interesting to watch next season.

I appreciate that the show originally concentrated on Lauren, but I won't miss her holier-than-thou attitude or her rather mundane personality.
Maybe now she's left The Hills Lauren will be able to put all of her energy into carving out a rewarding successful career in fashion for herself. I wish her well.
I'm sure Kristin will definitely bring a much needed sense of fun to the show - look forward to seeing her liven things up!
I HATE kristen! shes NOTHING like lauren and she cant simply replace her! everyone knows the hills and that LC is the main reason for watching it because shes true and tells the truth but all kristen will do is start MAJOR DRAMA!
Im not sure yet. when i begin to watch a show i begin to get ammune to the main star and i dont like replacements. she will stir up MAJOR drama but i really liked lauren and am so not sure about kristen cavallari i only watched a season of laguna and i was to young to really remember ill try it out adn maybe i will begin to fal in love with the new LC. its kinda like the city its cool but its not the hills!
Hell NOOOOOOOOOO!
Without Lauren? No way!
I seriously doubt I would watch The Hills w/o my girl Lauren! I think the show should end with her! Who the hell is this Kristin chick? A NOBODY!
kristens a stupid cunt
If you don't know who Kristen is. You were too young when Laguna Beach was on. Kristen was offered the Hills show originally and turned it down so they offered it to Lauren. But now Kristens back. Lauren has bored the crap out of everyone. The only reason people watch the show is for the drama so don't act like your not going to watch it any more because Kristen isn't as high and mighty as LC.
I'm not interested in watching the hills without Lauren, i only want to see the episode where someone throws so sort of liquid in Kristen's face, let us see if she is as bad ass as she acts
