Did AT&T Sway The American Idol Vote?

Watch the video and let me know what you think. Could these AT&T viewing parties really have affected the American Idol vote? Millions and millions of people tune in on the season finale. I'm just not so sure a few hundred people could have made such an impact.

In previous seasons when it was a tight competition they would say for example: It was a record setting 100 million votes and only 30 thousand votes separated the two finalists. When the results were read for this season finale it was never mentioned that it was close in the voting numbers, so I do not think the potential extra votes even mattered.

As for power texting, most phone have the option to send 10 messages to 1 # or you can send the same message to 10 contacts.
It's a feature on most phones.
