UPDATED: Jon And Kate Plus One Angry Brother!

And it's not just one brother (of Jon's alleged mistress, Deanna Hummel) who's upset with Jon and Kate Gosselin. Add in another brother, a sister-in-law, and a former boss.
E! gossip columnist Ted Casablanca got an exclusive statement from Deanna's brother, Jason, regarding whether or not Deanna and Jon have been having an affair and what's supposedly going on behind the scenes.
'[Jon] is a liar, cuz he did cheat, and unfortunatley [sic] I had to hear him cheating.'
'Him n Kate are just trying to save their show, which pays for their livelyhood [sic] by the way,' emails Jase. 'I would love for him to call me a liar on the show. As far as I'm concerned f*** Jon, Kate, my sister and TLC. I hope misfortune finds all of them in the near future.' "
Ouch! He's even angry with his own sister now!
Well, from Kate's and Jon's perspectives, Jason can get in line.
Kate's brother, Kevin Kreider, and his wife, Jodi, went on 'The Early Morning Show' today to say that the Gosselin children are being "exploited."
'We feel that they've chosen this path with disregard to their children's safety, security,' [Kevin] said.
When he broached the subject with Jon and Kate in the past, Kevin said
the couple told him, 'This is what we chose. This is how we're going
to provide for them.' "
UPDATE: According to E! Online, Kevin has been "shopping his tell-all take on the situation to media outlets for $30,000."
Meanwhile, Jon's former boss talked to Us Weekly about Jon and Kate, including Jon's supposed $5 allowance.

Jon's boss said he fired Jon for "misusing company resources" while Jon and Kate reportedly claim Jon was let go because his employer didn't want to provide health insurance for the sextuplets.
Whew! Jon and Kate are in the middle of a feeding frenzy!
Yet someone (or group) is still standing by their side: TLC.
'The show's ratings have grown consistently, as there has been interest
in these real-life issues of this real-life family,' TLC said in a
statement. 'We will continue to air as the interest continues, and the
family wants to do it.' "

imo most of this is probably true. as long as they're being honest with the viewer...& people want to watch the trainwreck...party on. further in the episodes i've watched the kids seem really well cared for & i for one don't consider their lifestyle child abuse. abusive to each other...well yes they are...but not to the kids.
Because going on national television and magazines is not exploiting the marriage situation. Im sorry but at this point NONE of these people are right. I'm sad too cause i missed the season premiere and I've never missed an episode but i refuse to watch. they need to stop because outsiders are just gonna keep making claims and saying vile nasty things that would affect them and their children with no 100% factual knowledge.
I like both of them and I know couples exactly like them who have lasted it's not impossible they just need to focus on their relationship with each other and not just their kids.
The brother and aunt jodi are dispicable...first they want to Star magazine and were paid for their story...why didint they FIRST go to a more reputable news outlet if they were trying to "help" the kids. Gee....kevin and jodi, did you think the kids were being exploited when TLC offered you money to be on the show? No, you only thought they were being exploited once Kate wouldnt allow you to be paid. Now all of a sudden, its wrong, would you still be speaking out if you were getting paid to be on the show? If you really wanted to help those kids you would have told your story to a news outlet that was more trustworthy and/ or didint pay you, but you are no better than ( in your opinion) jon and kate- making money off of the kids. As for the Boss who says jon was misusuing company resources- this may be true , this may be false- but what boss is going to come out and admit that he fired a man with 8 hungry kids because he didint want to insure them- this boss has a motive to lie- the motive is so he doesnt look like a jerk for not wanting to insure the kids. As far as the $5 dollar a day allowance- they have 8 kids, I know couples who have no kids and have to check with their spouse when they want to eat out for lunch....its all about the budget.....Am i saying Kate is perfect...am I saying these stories are all a big lie....who knows, but people need to look at this from BOTH angles. Kate knows she need to treat her husband better...And jon needs to be a MAN and not allow his wife to talk to him like she does.....all in all this family needs our prayers, not our judgement. If you really care about these kids, say a prayer for this family that these parents will really search their hearts and do what's best for their family.......whether that means ending the show or not. Even if you hate Kate, pray that she will change her ways, even if you love them both, pray that they will work this out for everyone in the family's good. They need prayer and a willingness to do whatever it takes to do what's best for those kids more than anything right now!

those poor little angels! i watched the premiere and one of the little girls aked her daddy not to leave anymore! it was heartbreaking! You could feel the tension coming out of the tv almost when jon got to the birthday party and Kate ignored him like a piece of trash! It so sad. I know a lot of people dislike Kate... i dont agree with everything she has done either, but i still cant help but feel sorry for her.

I was a loyal viewer of the show, but now I'm totally turned off by all of this.
They seemed so well-grounded and wholesome, but I guess the $$% got the best of them.
correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the show started when they were infants - they're now 5 years old.....5 years later they are now suddenly concern for their safety and security? I think they're jealous of their fame and fortune and getting a lot of free stuff from the show. shame on them for attacking their own family members and hurting their nieces and nephews.

Oh goodness. I could only imagine a very pregnant Kate storming into an office. Uh, no. She's on bedrest. There's no way she was taking that belly (that went out further than her ARMS) and storming into offices. Now, I could see her chewing someone out over the phone, but not storming in. Sorry. Not buying that. I think everyone just wants there few seconds of fame...!
and HELLO hormones from six babies growing in your belly! Give me a break! When I was pregnant with 1 child I went all prego crazy on my husband a coupole of times. I think if everyone thought about what we would look like if we were put under a daily microscope, i think most of us would not look much better!
I have watched this show from the beginning - but now it only sickens me! I refuse to watch one more episode of this train wreck. Kate has grown into a horrible, controlling drill sergeant the past couple of years who never shows affection to Jon or the children. I think the affection we saw Monday night that she showed the kids was totally staged - she never kisses or hugs them normally. Jon and Kate have grown into money-hungry monsters with very little regard for their children. I cannot stand to see them for one more minute and will no longer watch this show at the expense of their children. They should be ashamed of themselves!!

Look, I feel for these people. I loved the show. I loved the way they interacted with the kids. I fell head over heals for this family and their show as did alot of people. What is happening to this family is not some alien thing. they come into some money and find that now that they are able to do whatever they want, they don't want the same things. I get the impression that john was up to no good long before it came to light. She isn't perfect but he doesn't seem like the most supportive guy either.
Let's cut to the chase though... I am so disgusted with the fact that EVERYONE is making a big deal out of this $5 allowance. On the show they have both stated that when the kids were born they were practically destitute. The reason I'm dusgusted is because it goes to show that all the people who are talking smack about the "allowance" wouldn't know a budget if it slapped them in the face. I know poor. I know dire straights and I have to say five dollars a day with 10 mouths to feed and only one income is a luxury as far as I'm concerned. I'm proud to say that I could feed a family of 4 with $5 if I had to so get over it. Also I have a hard headed, stubborn, (sometimes) immature husband at home (like John) and guys like that aren't always as helpful and supportive as one would need them to be. She doesn't always handle it as well is she should but who in this world is perfect. Not I and not kate. Bottom line, they need some serious therapy they need to arrange some alone time. A time when they can get away together. He should have a job beside taking care of the kids EVEN THOUGH SHE DID IT BASICALLY BY HERSELF FOR FOUR YEARS!!! He does it for a couple of years and he's already crying about it. Am I the only one who sees Kates side of this. I have to say I saw this coming but only because I feel john is such a jerk. <3 Pea
Totally see your side. If Jon really cared about Kate being so mean to him, why didn't he grow a pair and say something about it earlier! He is just using this as a "great excuse" to run out and do what he wants. Kate has done a great job with those kids. And for those people who are starting to pick their kids apart (I've read some awful stuff about Maddie) I hope they never have children because they obvioulsy don't understand that it is difficult to shape your child and it is always a work in progress. Yes, Maddie can be a brat, so can my children. I hope it isn't due to any huge flaw of my own so I'm not going to dare put down two people who are raising 8 children! Thanks for letting me vent on this!

I totally agree with you. Everyone wants to talk about how mean and horrible Kate is but she couldn't have been that way if Jon didn't let her. You show people how to treat you. The first time she was such a b*tch, he should 've put his foot down. I've seen in many episodes where he's yelling and being just as rude as she is. Maybe not as often but good Lord...he's not the victim in that relationship. They're both a$$holes to each other!! And you're right...NOBODY knows what it's like to be in their shoes...nobody. People can say whatever they want because it's SO easy to do so from the outside looking in. I wonder how many people would look like total b*tches if they had 8 kids running around with cameras in their faces.

Sweetpea - No you are not alone. Read some of my old posts. I totally agree. They had to scrimp and save in the beginning. So kudos to Kate for making sacrifices to make it work. If it was left up to Jon, heaven help them. BTW- Jon is home with them when they are away at school most of the day. (so he can drive around in his new sports car and ATV uninterrupted - ugh) Kate was home with 100 dirty diapers a day with 6 crying infants. Let's call the waaa-ambulance for him. Big baby! He needs to get over himself.

I can't stand reading about people saying these people are abusing their kids. Please! I used to be a social worker and worked specifically for Child Protective Services. These children are not abused in any way. They are well loved, cared for, clothed...etc. They know that they will wake up in the morning in a safe, warm bed. People need to get a grip when they accuse them of abusing their children. You should walk into a house where the mom has allowed her new "boyfriend" to beat and/or molest her own children. As for Jon and Kate. I hope beyond hope that they work everyhting out. I love them and I can see both sides of the story. They are both very guilty of making some pretty harsh mistakes. I hope that they will soon realize that their is nothing more important than your spouse and your children and if you can make it work, then you should at least give it a try. No child wants to live in a home where the parents are always fighting, but if the marriage can be saved then I hope it will be. I don't believe any of the crap Us is spilling about Kate. She is no monster. Any mother would love to be able to have her hair and nails done on a regular basis. I would love to hit the tanning bed if I had the time and the money. If Kate does, more power to her. And as far as her loving freebies.... who doesn't!!! Sign me up for free stuff any day.

Kevin and Jodi are HYPOCRITES. They are getting PAID to speak to the tabloids and various other media outlets, as well as trying to sell their side of the story for $30,000. Yep, $30,000... They are willing to sell out their own family and exploit the situation for cash. They couldn't care less about the Gosselin children. And apparently, they didn't mind the show when THEY were on it. Back then, they never mentioned "exploitation". Funny how they've changed their minds so quickly now that they're no longer on the show. It's all a money scam and hopefully people can see through their act. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I just love Jon and Kate and their family!!! I really hope that they can work things out because they just look like such a nice family. If I could do the same with my family and make money to be able to stay at home with them and to make sure that they have everything they need or want in life I would. People are just horrible. This has gotten BEYOND ridiculous with this poor family, my husband and I have been avid watchers since the beginning. We love JK+8, the family is beaufitul. Kate CAN be a bit of a bitch, but what wife at one point or another doesn't bark or gripe or snap at her husband. Several times watching the show my husband would look over at me and say, "wow honey, she sounds like you" and to that I just laugh. People, no one is perfect! As for the allegations on cheating etc. etc. I haven't paid any mind to it, the media is horrible, and they get PAID to find dirt on anyone in the spotlight. So unfortunately having a casual dinner with a GIRL friend can look bad, but the media will spin it to look that much worse. As for their family i.e. her brother and sister in law, his boss, and the supposed brother of the mistress. They're all just trying to get a piece of the cake, I mean isn't it obvious if her brother in law is shopping around to sell his story!?! They're jealous of their new fortune and they've been trying to get in on it, if not make their own from it. I do not think this family is exploiting their children in any way! I have seen nothing but love shown to their kids, AND their children are all so well behaved and mannered! What more of a positive affect can they be having on them if thats the way they're turning out. If you ask me, and if I had a family of that size and someone offered me a reality show contract HECK YEA I'd do it! It is hard enough for us to provide for our ONE child, I can't even fathom the stress and anxiety a family of 10 can bring you! After all this those kids will be SET, they will never watch their parents sweat and bust their ass to provide for them. And that is something every parent would love to give their child. Watching the season premiere on Monday was saddening indeed. I almost felt wrong for watching, some things DO need to be kept private, especially in the area of their marriage and relationship. I am hoping for the best for Jon and Kate, those children deserve it.

Kevin & Jodi didn't take their concerns public for nearly two years after being cut out of Kate's life.
It wasn't until after seeing that first episode of the new season that they decided the situation had become extremely urgent.
remember they have had virtually no contact with Jon and Kate since being booted out of their lives..
Also, they didn't ask to be paid.. The shows producers said they basically HAD to be paid. They had become semi-regulars on the show and their home had become a semi-regular shoot location and as such they should receive compensation. For the use of their house and for Jodi's appearances on the show.
Kate flipped out at this suggestion and cut both of them from her and her family's lives.
They also would have been able to claim the use of their home as a shooting location for tax purposes..
Again they were not aware of this, and had never asked for any compensation for the use of their home.
Neither had ever asked for payment of any kind.
Aunt Jodi started expressing concerns about the effect on the children as early as the second season when the episodes went from 7 to 40.
She also noted changes in the behaviour of the two older girls - That they both seemed to be acting or playing to the cameras - as early as the second season.
Kate has virtually no contact with her Father because like Jodi, he too expressed concerns about the children's well-being being brought up in this bizarre manner.
No one knows how these kids will turn out.
But it looks like their parents will split up.. and they will have spent their most formative years living in a fish-bowl.
What happens to them when the show finally ends , the cameras are gone and they aren't *special* anymore?
No one really knows.. this has never been done before.
I feel sorry for them though.
They didn't ask for this.. They have no say in the matter, and won't have any say for the rest of the series.
My hope is that the show ends after this season and that the kids adjust to life without all the freebies and media attention they get now.
I hope that Kate falls hard. I'm enjoying the trainwreck. I can't wait to see them run out of money. Then there's childsupport and alimony Jon will pay Kate.
