Chris Brown Insists He Isn't A Monster In New Online Video
Chris Brown insists he is “not a monster”.
The 20-year-old singer – who has pleaded not guilty to assaulting his then
girlfriend Rihanna – has released a video thanking fans for their support
and insisting many of the rumors circulating about him are untrue.
Chris says:
“I just
wanna say, 'What up?' because I ain't been out there in a minute. New album
will be coming soon. We're working on it right now. Called ‘Graffiti’. Got
everything on it, know what I'm saying? I'll be ready for that.I'm about to
drop a single this summer for y'all. So we ain't going nowhere.“Everybody that's haters, they just been haters. All my real fans, I love
you all. I ain't a monster.”
And what about Rihanna's infamous picture - listen to what Chris says about that.
All the blog sites are liars. You guys lie. No black eye.
Chris has been charged with felony assault and making criminal threats in
relation to allegations he bit, choked and punched Rihanna in February.
A court hearing relating to the case is due to take place today although Chris is not expected to attend.
Meanwhile, Chris is being sued by a man who claims he was assaulted by one
of the singer’s security team at a Los Angeles fitness club last March.
Photographer Robert Rosen – who is a member of the gym - alleges the
bodyguard chased him after he took a photograph of Chris while the star was
playing basketball.
Rosen claims an employee at the fitness club blocked his exit, but he
managed to escape. He then fell down a flight of stairs, after which he
alleges the bodyguard “picked him up by his shorts, and physically assaulted
him”.
He is suing Chris and the gym for assault, battery, intentional infliction
of emotional distress and false imprisonment.
Chris’ lawyer Mark Geragos said:
“This is a specious and frivolous lawsuit
by one of the paparazzi seeking publicity and a payday. He’s done this
before and lost. We will vigorously defend against this.”
One bad thing after another...

He sounds so ghetto.
Someone should snap his dick right off and poke his eyeballs off. This is not a REAL man.
he sounds so uneducated.

He beat the hell out of Rhianna and pleads not guilty in court? That alone tells you what kind of a man he is...pure scum. And I guess the lack of a black eye makes up for the rest of the pounding he did on her face. Fuc!king idiot.
He is speaking out because he has a new album coming out. He needs to appeal to the fans he has left. If the fans don't buy the records, he doesn't make money. He doesn't care about what we think, he cares about selling albums that's it, nothing more nothing less.

he needs to just shut it.
You can take the monkey out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the monkey; and they wonder why their race is still "struggling". The slave mentality is what holds them back, not "The Man".
whoa! the comments... he's ghetto and "and they wonder why their race is still "struggling" ". wow.
he has been out this is just his first widespread public sighting. i dont think he's a monster and truth be told if he's a monster i think 2/3 the population including myself could be considered monsters by the everyday things we do and get passes for. mistakes are mistakes and rihanna obviously doesnt seem to give a damn so i dont see y we should. she's globe trotting and having a good time and ppl are like "mutilate him!"
YOu may not like it, but it is what it is!!
says who you or the higher powers of you. do you decide peoples fate and do you decide whether or not they should be given second chances.
i mean yea he does sound ghetto but the fact that one person chose to state the other quote was unnecessary. i'm sorry but i think that people in the bogosphere act like they're Gods and label people and try to decide their fate when it's quite frankly non of their business.
Vera just so you know there has been a video of said paparazzi after the incident denouncing Chris Brown and his bodyguards fault on ummm i think theybf.com. Just a lil f.y.i.

Beating the living sh*t out of your girlfriend and strangling her out of consciousness for ANY reason (aside from, perhaps, her holding a GUN to your head) is unacceptable. I question anyone who compares that to "mistakes" we all make from day to day. That wasn't a mistake, dear. And trying to excuse it as one simply perpetuates the idea that domestic violence is acceptable. Think before you post.
I advise you to "think before you post" as well. It was NOT domestic violence. A long while back, Judge Judy spoke out about this case explaining to the public that classifying it as domestic violence is incorrect. It is assault. Rihanna and Chris Brown were not married, did not live together, and she is/was not financially dependent on him. And who is to say it wasn't a mistake? You were not there that night. You weren't there for any part of their relationship. For all you know, he could've gotten really mad about something she said, or the fact that as she openly admitted to the police, she HIT HIM FIRST, and he just snapped. In that case, it is a mistake and the escalation of the situation is both of their faults.

I'm not going to argue semantics with you. Beating the living sh*t out of someone is never a "mistake". Get your head straight. There is NEVER an excuse for this. NEVER. Why are you excusing it? Think about that. Even IF they were having an argument, THAT would make the outcome acceptable to you? Seriously?
Gotta to say, I agree with Ha on this one. You are wrong on this one...just plain wrong! And quoting Judge Judy????? now there's a voice of authority. You need help.

well said.... just pathetic.
Vera, he is not saying "no blackeye" about Rihanna, another gossip site had a pic of him at a basketball game and it looked like he had a black eye, then Jay Z that same day had a black eye so they were saying those two might have faught about the whole Rihanna situation, and he was saying the website was lying he didn't have a black eye....

WHO CARES ABOUT THIS GHETTO WANNABE! HE'S A PIECE OF S.H.I.T. AND NEEDS TO GO AWAY. POOR LITTLE GIRLFRIEND BEATER SAYS HE'S NOT A MONSTER. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...........
Doesn't he sound like such an intelligent, well-educated young man? I'm sure his parents are very proud of him.

He's not a monster but he did behave/act like one.
It's funny that everyone is calling Chris Brown ghetto, but before this Rihanna incident, he was never considered as such; He was a cute, sweet, talented young man. And to those who mentioned his level of education: DUH! He was signed to a record label at the age of 16! When was he supposed to go to college? While he was busy touring the globe?! But what about Rihanna? I guess it's cool for women to hit men? But men just can't hit back. Is that it? They were BOTH WRONG that night, and no-one knows what happened expect for the two of them. And remember we never actually saw any photo's of Chris that can prove that Rihanna didn't hit him! Rihanna could have been the one to initiate the fight. And why didn't she get out of the car during the incident? Was it because she wanted to continue fighting him? According to the alleged police report, Chris was actually trying to get Rihanna out of the car but she wouldn't budge. You could easily say Rihanna is a monster for hitting Chris. But we don't want to talk about that do we? No, we'll just focus on the man because he was the ONLY one at fault right? And why is it such a bad thing that he's working on an album? MUSIC IS HIS JOB! Is he not supposed to go back to work? You people really need to think before you speak, (or type), because your comments are just as ignorant as you're trying to make Chris Brown seem. And the monkey comment? Really? Being racist makes you the monkey. How tragic!
You must be either black or a man. Only ignorant black people or poor white trash think is OK to hit a woman. A real man regardless if the woman hits him first, walks away.
Apparently you didn’t read what that person wrote. They didn’t say that it was okay to hit a woman. They said they were both wrong! A real man doesn’t need to hit a woman. But women shouldn’t hit men either just because they think he wont fight back.
Exactly!
I'm a huge fan of RiRi but ummm white men don't hit woman? Thats funny because usually in movies, its a rich white man beating a woman into submission. I'm sure there are spanish, english, asian, indian, caribbean... etc.... men who have been arrested for beating women. Why is this a race issue? I guess this is an excuse to put African Americans down. I don't think anyone thinks that its okay to hit a woman. My black friends don't think what he did was right at all. But then again no-one thinks what he did was right. Just my opinion though. I love this blog, and i visit daily, but I totally cannot support it when racist remarks are allowed. Thats just NOT cool.
exactly. he was far stronger then her. it was never a fair fight. as if she even hurt him if she did hit him! a real man doesn't need to hit a woman. end of story.
So its cool for a woman to hit a man? Why are people making Rihanna out to be an angel? Yes, she is a victim. What happened to her was horrible and tragic. No one deserves that.... But angel she is not.
Exactly...
Yes, ANYBODY resorting to violence is wrong.
It was a stupid thing to do, celebrity or not.
I think he's still an exceptional artist and performer.
The only people who know what caused the fight are the two people who were in the car at the time. I'll still be looking out for his new album and snatching up a copy. I like his music. Silly move to go hitting somebody? YES! But he has talent.
