No, there's no trouble in paradise. Mel Gibson is just trying to do the right thing by his pregnant girlfriend's other child, Alexander.
Mel and Oksana Grigorieva "do not share a home as Oksana doesn’t want to disturb the life of her
11-year-old son, whose father is actor Timothy Dalton. A US magazine
said: “At the end of the evening, the couple typically return to their
separate homes so Oksana can get her son Alexander off to a local
school in the mornings." Oksana is determined for Alexander and Mel –
who has seven children with estranged wife Robyn – to be friends in
time for the arrival of the new baby."
Maybe this is a good sign for the couple...they're taking it slow and making it work...

Wow, I was just about to come on here and say the same thing when I read that last sentence. Like, WTH? People are constantly asking why children are so out of control--well, here is your answer. When you bring a child into this kind of dysfunction, what do you expect?

Sooooo true! Now they care how he feels? Too late. I bet illegitimate spawn of an adulterous affair in the celebrity spotlight wasn't on her son's wish list. He will have to answer for his mother's lack of morals. I feel sorry for him. She wants him to be friends with Mel. What about what he wants? Maybe he doesn't want all the publicity she brought on.

Isn't it worse to just come home so she can take her son to school the next morning? Unless they don't have dinner together during the week so she can at least have dinner with her own son...
gretel--the article says that when she has dinner with Mel her son is with them because she wants them to 'bond'.

Im in awe of women who do this sort of thing. I cannot imagine using your "wiles" to get around men this way. I was brought up to not sponge of anyone but to make your own way in life. If you already have a child then you know you are fertile so you should be extra careful - unless of course you are just looking for the payday. All these families with 4 kids by 4 different fathers are just trash in my view. The kids are innocent of course since they didnt ask to be born into this sort of family.

It's really stupid to put all families into the same bag, you know? Talk about ignorance. So if you have a relationship that didn't work out, you can't have more kids with someone you meet on a next time? I know a lot of half-brothers/sisters who get along pretty well & a lot of brothers/sisters who don't even talk to each other.

Women who have lots of kids with all different fathers are trash. Paint it with whatever brush you want. Im not talking about someone who might have been married for years and then got divorced and remarried. Im talking about the extremes such as someone who has 3 kids or more with 3 different fathers or more and never could last with them longer then it took to spit out the kid. If you cant commit to the man why the hell would you think to have his child ?! As I said, the kids are innocent in that whole thing - Im talking about ADULTS that should have more sense. If you want to have a debate then debate - dont resort to name calling which could be perceived as immature.

Saying that it is an ignorant point of view is not name calling, it's a fact. she's about to have her 2nd child & her other son is 11, so I don't think she's popping kids for the sake of it. Your remarks about trashy families had nothing to do with this article, since this isn't exactly about a woman who has 4 kids from 4 different men.

A point of view is just that - a personal point of view. My comment still stands whether you think it is OT or not - since when did this website ever stand on the formality of being OT in the comments section ? This woman is concerned about upsetting her 11 year old child by bringing her latest man home. It seems rather ironic that she doesnt seem to have the same issue with bringing home his child in her womb. That would seem to be a whole lot more disturbing to me :-O
