Rihanna Will Testify At Chris Brown's Hearing

Or at the very least, Rihanna's attorney says she "will comply" with a subpoena to appear in court to testify. Rihanna's attorney said the District Attorney plans to subpoena the singer to testify in a hearing that will determine if there is enough evidence for a trial.

'The DA has advised me that she will be subpoenaed [to testify],' Etra
said. 'She absolutely will comply.' He added that Rihanna, 21, would be
subject to cross-examination by Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos."

It's important to remember that a subpoena to testify doesn't guarantee Rihanna will take the stand. It means that she has to be in court in case she's called to testify. All kinds of legal maneuvering could occur before then and in court.
