RUMOR has it that Suri Cruise is not allowed to socialize with non-Scientologist children.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly reluctant to let their
three-year-old daughter play with other kids, even those in her two dance
classes.
A source told Britain’s Star magazine:
“She never hangs out with her dance
friends before or after class. Her mom takes her and waits in the lobby
during class. Then their entourage whisk her away again.“They prefer Suri not to hang out with other kids unless they’re
Scientologists. And she doesn’t have many play dates with children and is
happy just spending time talking to her dolls as though she is their adult
nanny.”
Despite her isolated existence, Suri has lots going on in her life to keep
her occupied. In addition to having tuition in Spanish and French, Tom and
Katie have now signed her up for piano and violin lessons.
“They think she’ll be very good at both and are fully
convinced that she’ll want to practice all the time.”
The couple are said to refuse to treat Suri as a child and prefer to behave
as if she is their equal.
“They say that Suri is a little adult, and that she
can hang out with them and their friends. They don’t say no to her as they
believe that she will understand better what she did wrong if they just
explain it to her.“They indulge all of her interests. She is taught to be perfectly clean -
and they don’t let her do any activities that make a mess. Their home has to
be completely quiet at certain times and Suri is expected to comply.”
I wish I could get my kids to comply to a rule like that. No talking, screaming, shouting, crying, whining or begging from 4 to 6pm? It would be magical.

Well according to that actor Jason Beghe who was very high up in Scientology, when you join you are encouraged to have no contact with any suppressed people. For instance he lost all contact with his family and friends who werent Scientologist so this story sounds in line with what has been said about them.

To my knowledge, neither Mr. Cruise nor his wife has ever done anything to hurt anyone. They believe in Scientology just as some others believe in Christianity. It’s the way they have chosen to seek out and realize their eternal nature and relationship with this universe and possibly its creator. Since the early days of his involvement in Scientology, Cruise has been ruthlessly attacked, yet he remains devout and continues to succeed. Say what you want, but this man believes in Scientology as fully as the Pope believes in Jesus. Imagine a world, if you can, where Christianity is attacked and ridiculed like Scientology is today. If Mr. Cruise were a Christian in such a world, would you ridicule for keeping his child from those who say Jesus was a con man? People tend to desire associations with those whose beliefs and moral values are similar to their own. Would it really be so unusual for the Cruise children to have predominantly Scientologist friends? This is one of the most famous families on earth. If their child were to hang out with kids in her dance class, wouldn’t they keep that a BIG secret for the safety of their daughter and her friends? My sincere advice to all of you is to stop worshipping people who don’t know you exist. Instead, find a bunch of folks who share your beliefs and build something meaningful for you in your life, instead of trying to live vicariously through movie stars who already have. This is not meant as an insult to anyone, and there is certainly nothing wrong with enjoying the work of talented artists!

Quite ridiculous. I hate rumors like this because it paints a family we really know nothing about in a bad light. I don’t mind speculation about people in general, but when the family starts getting attacked it angers me. This reminds me of the news story about Tom Cruise buying a sonogram machine for their house when Katie Holmes was pregnant. Everyone said how ridiculous it was and “don’t they know that many sonograms are dangerous to a baby?”. After Suri was born and they did the interview, Katie stated the reason they had the machine in the house was because it was such a hassle to get out for her doctors appts due to the media frenzy, she had the docs visit her… Which is totally understandable. I think with families that are in the spotlight like the Cruises and Gosselins, everyone needs to take a step back and realize that we are not there in their day to day lives to truly see what is going on.

they are living their lifes in the spotlight – and they dragging suri out into this! It’s not like they try to ‘hide’ their lifes before the eyes of the public, so I think some comments are really over the top when it comes to the so called privacy
but except for the rumors about how they treat suri, i think some of the things aren’t so unbelievable, they are raising a little princess – and by the age of 16 she might become a paris hilton or something worse – but i doubt that she will ever become a total normal girl. If a child doesn’t have boundaries and always hangs out with adults, this can’t be to healthy
