Denise Richards Opens Up About Plastic Surgery

First Cameron Diaz, now Denise Richards: this must be plastic surgery confession week! Denise was on Howard Stern’s radio show when the radio host asked if her breasts were real. Denise gave an honest answer.

Um, natural on outside, on the inside they are not."

What a way to put it! LOL

She explained she wanted breast augmentation because she wanted to be an actress.

‘I was 19, and my roommate had the best boobs ever, and she had just had
hers done,’ she said with a laugh. ‘I was flat as a board, and I
thought ‘Whoa, you can just buy them’ and stupidly had them done!’ "

Unfortunately, things didn’t go well. Denise had to have her breasts done three times.

She said the first doctor made her breasts too large for her body, so she went to another doctor, who gave her even larger breasts.

Luckily, the third time ended up being the charm for Denise, and she was happy with those!

Denise has advice for women considering this.

I was young and should have researched better. You know, it was a big mistake. Young girls, don’t do it!"

I know this is a personal question, but we’re all friends here, right? So…

Have you ever considered getting your breasts done (either larger or smaller)?

I had never thought about it until breast cancer and after losing both, got new ones reconstructed and the doctor didn’t go bigger then I was, just went perkier and I feel like they’re huge.

  2. Anonymousino says:

Defo getting them smaller when I hit 25 so in about 4 years. I weigh like 57 kilos, i am 5’6 and my boobs are a 34 DD which is plainly ridiculous and sluttifies even the simplest things.

  3. Anonymous says:

I would NEVER. I am tiny and fit and my boobs are small and perky as hell. I am 28 with the body of a 18 year old never would I destroy what I have worked so hard to attain. And the thought of having to go back under to get shit corrected makes my skin crawl, if I ever woke up with a ‘deflated boob’ I would go CRAZY. Thats some scary shit and how people can talk about it like its nothing is even more scary. Yikes. Tummy tucks, boob jobs its like never ending. I’ll stick with lifting weights, running and eating well cuz to me fake things look exactly that…fake.

I am saving up for mine! :) I want to get somethign in the C-cup range. I have something in the A-cup range. — I don’t really care if anybody knows about it. I’ve worked hard for and love my body. And I’ve realised that there’s *nothing* I can naturally do about the size of my boobs. Other people think I look great, AND I DO, it’s not like I’m hoping to look magically amazing with boobs. I simply *WANT THEM*, so I’m going to get them.

I’m quite amazed at how many of the people above are pro-plastic surgery. I could defiantly do to lose a couple of kilos, and my breasts are really small – but I just roll with it. I still have my days where I hate my body but as I get older the more I appreciate that things aren’t that bad. I would never get a boob-job or any other surgery for that matter. I’m proud of my breasts and love that I can chose whether I wear a bra or not, that jackets look great on me and that all my partners now and and in the past have never had any problem with them – and I believe them! Why fake it!?

  6. Anonymous says:

But – just for the record – I totally understand breast surgeries for health, safety and comfort reasons.

  7. Anonymous says:

I totally agree! And I also happen to like my small breasts. I’m used to it, I’ve never known anything else. Plus, given my small proportions, I’d look totally ridiculous even going a cup size up. If a boy wants something bigger and isn’t willing to be with me because of my chest size, that’s his problem to figure out, not mine to correct.

  8. momster says:

I’m 36 and have had 4 kids. I am a bit overweight, so now they are HUGE, but as I lose weight, they deflate and get longer! LOL – They definitely do NOT stand up and salute anymore! I would LOVE to get a LIFT (nothing added, just skin removed), but probably never will – being sliced open 4 times for kids was enough surgery for me, I’m too scared to go in for something cosmetic!! But, I’d LOVE to do it!

  9. misschristina says:

I’m an A cup, and I’ve really never minded it, I’ve got a smaller body shape so it’d look silly on me I think. I’ve always admired models’ (waif-types) and ballerinas’ shapes so I’ve never wanted bigger breasts! I’m 27, they’re perky, not sagging so I’m happy! Honestly, breasts are mostly fat, why would I want more fat!

Do any of you large chested ladies sleep on your stomachs? I always sleep on my stomach, and I can’t imagine having big breasts and being able to sleep that way :)

  10. rockonxox says:

Sleeping on my stomach can be uncomfortable because my boobs just squish in awkward ways. I usually sleep on my back because sometimes even on my side they just always seem to get in the way :/ I wish I would have stopped growing at a C. Honestly, the most painful thing for me is swimsuits. I have a size XL or D top and a size S or M for the bottom. No cute presized suits, I have to always go with seperates, and one pieces never fit right either.

Hey..if you’re willing to wait a year or so, you’ll be able to grow a cup naturally. There is this procedure with stem cells that helps you grow a cup…They’ve done it in England to a couple of women and they’re going strong…there’s no foreign matter in your body and they stay like that almost forever if you don’t gain/lose weight…..read about it on internet. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/health/article5993187.ece

  12. ApeyL says:

I agree!! I don’t know if I understand getting a enhancement, because I absolutely hate having large boobs…but hey, everyone has different wants. But, if you had huge boobs, as do I, you would probably want a reduction as well. It’s very uncomfortable. You can’t go to a department store and buy bras, I have to special order and they are EXPENSIVE, I can’t remember the last time I was able to wear a bathing suit, can’t wear anything strapless, can’t lay on my stomach when I sleep, I would love to work out, but forget about running with these things. There are MANY different reasons to have a reduction.

  13. Alex A says:

well, since i’m planing to lose some weight (already lost 8 kilos in 2 months and won’t stop until i get to 20) i’m pretty scared that my breasts will not look as good as they once did, so i wil DEFINETELY get an augumentation sometime in the near future :)

  14. Anonymous says:

i’m 32gg… now you can imagine what that looks like… lol…
i use to be great at sports and very dedicated and at the ago of 15 i just had to stop, it was impossible to do gymnastics like that. it caused me a lot of problems and insecurities but as i had very bad experiences with surgeries (not plastic) in life i just can’t make myself do it. i wish i was braver then that because i know it would make my life much better.

  15. anonymous says:

I’ve got small boobs and I would never opt for plastic surgery. Good for the people who feel like they need the boost, but personally I think it’s like lying to yourself. I just can’t get past the thought of having two heavy foreign objects sewn permanently into my chest and look in the mirror and think that’s beautiful. I’m beautiful just the way I am and I don’t need two plastic things to prop up my confidence.

  16. Anonymous says:

I completely agree…I am 27 and a fitness junky. I work very hard for what I have. My chest is large for my frame (34c/d and 25 inch waist), but perky as heck because I lift weights and wear proper support during my workouts. I have built up good muscle behind my breasts, which hopefully will help to keep them in place. I’m all for healthy eating and working out… it won’t make your chest bigger but it can make your whole body look smokin’ hott which compensates for a smaller chest.

  17. Jane says:

I definitely agree with Denise Richards’ comment that one should research well before undergoing a plastic surgery. When I went in for breast implants a few months ago, I must have browsed through a zillion sites. Then I stumbled upon Dr Jeneby’s site – Dr. Jeneby Plastic Surgery (http://www.drjenebyplasticsurgery.com/) and was impressed with the number of recommendations and achievements he has. I made up my mind to have him as my plastic surgeon. It proved to be a great decision. I was told what to expect and was provided with extreme care before and after the surgery.

  18. merce369 says:

    say no to plastic surgery

  19. heidi says:

i have had 5 children and nursed all my children and am very uncomfortable with post results… no exercise can help excessive skin …like living in a suit that dont fit
so ya as soon as i am able i am going to have it done
breast lift aug and tummy tuck yahoo cant wait

  20. ApeyL says:

I will definitely be having a reduction after I have kids. I have said that since I was about 15 and have NOT changed my mind. I have an extremely large chest and I’m an average sized girl. Honestly, I think they weigh about 10lbs each…not exaggerating! (TMI, maybe). But like you said…we’re all friends here.

  21. rockonxox says:

Um, breasts on average weigh about 1lb per cup size so unless your FFF they do not weigh 10lbs each.

  22. Anonymous says:

My Mom had a reduction and my sister most likely will as well. I don’t need bigger or smaller, mine a just right for my body. They got HUGE when I was pregnant and nursing but after I lost al the baby weight they returned to normal. What I have considered, after I am done having babies, is a small lift and reshape, I don’t want them hiked up around my earlobes (ie: I don’t want cleavage when I am wearing a turtle neck…lol) but I have never been fully satisfied with the shape and will want them lifted a bit after kids :)

  23. Anonymous says:

She has gorgeous hair in that picture. I don’t care if it’s fake or not, it’s gorgeous. As for the boobs, I’m tall and thin and have extremely small breasts. I would love to get a small enhancement just so I can fill out a top properly without having 2 inches of padding in my bra.

  24. Anonymous says:

Yep, tall and thin here and that is exactly what I had done. Now I just look like a normal 34B. I looked like a 10 year old boy before. Nobody except my hubby knows I did it. Love being able to wear unpadded bras. :) My only regret is not doing it a long time ago.

  25. anonymous says:

She does have gorgeous hair. It has always been very thick and long. I believe most of it if not all of it is hers.

  26. rockonxox says:

I am a horseback rider with naturally large boobs. I am small at 5’2 so my boobs can seem quite large for me some times, especially if I gain weight and they grow a cup size *eek*. From horseback riding I have the not so perkiest boobs because I used to ride without a sports bra and my boobs definitely needed that kind of support. I’ve thought about getting a breast lift but am not sure what it entails. I would love to be able to wear a swimsuit without needing a ridiculous amount of support just to hold my girls at the youthful (I’m only 22!) perky level that they should be.

  27. Jamie says:

I had them done when I was 20. I loved them, I didn’t go too big. I went from and AA to a big C. But I’m hispanic so they fit my body good. I had to get them redone again when I was 26. I woke up one morning and one of them had deflated. I was horrified!! So I had a tune up, now I’m 30 and I just had a kid. They still look good but they are not perfect like before, my hubby says they look more natural. I guess that’s good. After my next baby I am going back to get the works done.. tummy tuck and a lift.

  28. Lila says:

    I didn’t, but Vera, did you? :)

  29. ApeyL says:

I’m a FF – so they weigh about 9lbs each, but possibly 10lbs being that it’s an “average 1lb per cup size.”

BTW, I’m glad you know how big and how much my breats weigh! :-)

  30. sweet kiddo says:

your back must hurt so bad !! :(

  31. rockonxox says:

Haha I used to think my DDs weighed half of my weight so I did a lot of research and found out I was quite wrong. I think having DDs is painful, I’m always having back and shoulder pains (I’m only 5’2 so they aren’t too proportionate hah). I couldn’t imagine anything larger! Props to you ;)

  32. ApeyL says:

Yeah, I tend to have shoulder and back pains and my shoulders tend to slump foward! (I’m only 23.) I have been dreaming of the day I can finally get a reduction. But, what’s the point in doing it now…if I plan on having kids?

  33. poetstar says:

Just right, but a lift wouldn’t hurt. ;)

  34. captain america says:

    very pretty. bad mother. folks?

  35. Court says:

I have a pear shape so if I got my boobs just slightly bigger, I’d be more proportionate all around (more hourglass shaped). I hate it. I’m not like Kim K. but I do have a much smaller waist than my hips and butt. It’s not fun looking for clothes. It’s probably the worst body shape to have – for me at least.
