Yesterday, The NY Post posted that Melissa Joan Hart was overheard making a terrible joke at Farrah Fawcett’s expense. Today, the Teenage Witch took to her MySpace account to respond to the allegation:
"It has come to my attention that something I said has been completely misconstrued in the press. I was merely explaining what I had read about how the cover of People magazine was chosen from an article last week I read in the Times. I truly hope that Farrah and her family know I wish them the best at this time in her life. And that I would never be so selfish to disrespect anyone, let alone someone I admire greatly."
I am sure Farrah has bigger things to worry about, but it’s nice that Melissa went on record to clear the air.
She greatly admires Farrah Fawcett? For what? I’m sorry the woman has cancer and is dying but she’s done nothing that’s worthy of admiration.
Wow that really cold. I guess her millions of fans would agree?
It would be different if celebs where to say ” it has come to my attention that something I said…well, yes I said it so what ?” end quote.
I will pay for that magazine when it happens. Gladly!
She doesn’t seem to be denying the quote in any way, so I’m not sure how it was misconstrued. Very embarrassing!

I thought the same thing too, what is she trying to say? she is not denying it…..so she said it. Celebs are self-absorb, egomaniacs, self-centered, selfish people. Who only live to be relevant and the center or attention. I don’t feel sorry when one of them falls from their pedestal.
She is a nobody who desperately wants to be a somebody. Farrah has legions of fans all over the world, she is a 70′s ICON you cannot take that from her. She was the ultimate sex symbol.
