Update: Jessica Alba Under Investigation For Vandalism
Apparently, Jessica Alba loves sharks. She loves them so much, she allegedly participated in a campaign to save great white sharks. A campaign that reportedly consisted of posting pictures of great white sharks on places like electrical boxes, a bridge, and a United Way billboard (according to pictures that have surfaced online).
The problem -- the glue is so gnarly the posters aren't coming off.
Cops say they want to have a chat with Alba, who's in town filming a
movie.Alba, it seems, is scrambling. Her rep has already called the United Way, offering to replace the billboard."
While the people behind this say they want to raise awareness of the plight of great white sharks, the Oklahoma City Director of Parks and Recreation has filed a police report for defacing public property. A crime.
Oops. It's the thought that counts, I guess.

I got involved in something I should have had no part of. I realize that I should have used better judgment and I regret not thinking things through before I made a spontaneous and ill-advised decision to let myself get involved with the people behind this campaign. I sincerely apologize to the citizens of Oklahoma City and to the United Way for my involvement in this incident."

just goes to show how stupid she really is. she should stop trying so hard to show the public how smart she is because it just backfires on her. poor stupid girl. but still hot, i guess. that's all she's got going for her.
I can't believe she put a poster on a United Way billboard! Why would you support one cause while diminishing and vandalizing another? Poor judgment and poor taste. I always thought she was a terrible actress, and now I think of her as a terrible person.
Hah. I love how she's all for the cause until it starts to look bad on her. Bad acting, bad judgment. Bad all around.
Honestly I am sick and tired of Hollywood people doing stupid things like this and getting away with it all the time. All they have to do is apologize and pay some money. How can they learn? The apology is written by their publicists and they don't lack money so they are not learning anything. She is not even taking full responsibility. She blames the organization behind the campaign. The funny thing is she looks like she was having a lot of fun doing what she did and as far as I know, white sharks don't reside in Oklahoma.

This is proof that celebs like Alba only get "involved" in things they know nothing about. If they think it makes them look good, they do it. Since this made her look bad, she is going to bail out on the sharks....LOL stupid bitch.

Hey Jessica, if you want to be part of a worthy cause, why don't you be a volunteer for United Way instead of vandalizing their billboard. Does she even know what United Way does? She's not exactly the brightest bulb in the bunch is she?

Wow, I haven't been able to stand her ever since I saw the movie Honey....worst movie ever btw. So basically she's claiming "they tricked me into doing these evil deeds...it is all their fault. i actually have newfound respect for her now for sticking up for such a cause. good for her for getting the word out - sharks (and so many other animals) are suffering too much abuse at the hands of humans, and that she had the guts to do this has earned my applause.

Well now she is ashamed of it because they posted stickers in the wrong places. To really earn respect, she should have taken a stand instead of blaming things on other people. Although the United Way bulletin was out of hand, she at least could have agreed to have it replaced herself.
