Heidi Klum Showing Off Her Baby Bump

Heidi Klum Showing Off Her Baby Bump

This is one fashionable couple! And not just because Miss Heidi happens to be a super model... it's just that these two really know how to work it! LOVE THEM.

Heidi Klum and husband Seal were photographed entering an office building for a business meeting.  I love that Heidi still wears high heels even though she's several months pregnant.

What do you do when you are expecting? Are you in flats all day long?

So weird that celebs wear those crazy heels while pregnant while doctors clearly say that pregnant women shouldn't do that because they need to prepare their muscles for labor. But I guess since most of them (I mean all of them) are too posh to push, that's not an issue. They just schedule their C-section. I was surprised when I was Tori Spelling delivering her baby girl last year, she didn't have any apparent problem like the baby is too big, or the baby's head is not down, etc... but they just opted for a C-section. Not here to judge but I prefer choosing the hard way.

omg, you proabably don't drink coffe or eat hot dogs when pregnant either. To say someone should not wear heel when pregnant is crazy. Wearing heels has no bearing on preparing the muscles for labor. Why on earth do women exercise and do marathons, triathalons, pliates and yoga when they're pregnant then? Reading you post would lead me to believe that they shoudl all let their butt spread while they sit on a couch in front of the TV letting the muscles rest so they are ready for labor.

you really need to put down the alarmist books you are reading and get a new Dr that will let you live and have fun while you are pregnant.

Hormones released during pregnancy that allow your muscles to 'give' more and allow passage of the baby during delivery also have on effect on the muscles elsewhere, ie around the ankles, meaning if you twisted your ankle when wearing high heels you would be at a higher risk of doing some serious damage. That is the reason you are dvised not to wear high heels during pregnancy, not to prevent fun!

I love high heels! I am pregnant in my 30th week and I can't wear them any more. I get aches and pains all over and prefer not to, but if I could I would wear them into the delivery room. In the first and the second trimester I used to wear heels but only when i didn't had to walk much. I guess Heidi isn't straining too much here either...

I fully intend to wear high heels until it hurts or my pregnancy affects my walking, when I get pregnant. Doctors do recommend not wearing them because of balance issues, IE your balance is off due to your belly, your tired and less aware. Also as stated above, your body produces hormones while pregnant to relax your joints to make it easier to give birth, (this happens weather or not you have a c-section) so if you fall you could more easily dislocate, say your hip, and that doesn't feel very nice!
