This weekend Chicago radio station, B96fm hosted the B96 Pepsi Summerbash held at Toyota Park
Bridgeview in Illinois. Needless to say thousands and thousands of fans came out to enjoy a day of music. The Black Eyed Peas and Miss Kelly Clarkson were among the list of performers and I am sure they had the crowd going wild!

I just need to say it. Yes! No doubt she's a famous and talanted person, but she's, what I call - anti-sex type. Absolutely not pleasant style! It's like to say: "I sing too good to worry about my image". Notice, I don't even mention her body. She's a natural woman - that's fine, but THE BORING LOOK.? It's so insulting for my childish dreams about becoming a Princess that she actually became for the public after American Idol.
Maybe she wanted to be closer to ordinary normal people who live in Illinois by wearing clothes from Mall? Rhetorical question.
That shows nothing but no taste. I am curious, didn't she get a dress-code note from Pepsi pr-department? Anyways, it's pity how someone who has a pure orgasmic voice is getting ruined at the middle of the Cinderella story.

honestly, i feel offended if an artist i admire (it's not the case here, but anyway) doesn't give a sh1t about how he/she presents himself to his fans. it's almost disrespectful. i don't give a damn about her weight, but you can be curvy and look stylish, which is not the case here. beth ditto manages to do so.

Not a pleasant style? I see nothing wrong with what she's wearing. A cute cardigan, a sunny yellow top and a pair of nice black jeans.
What is she supposed to be glammed up like Beyonce all the time? Maybe this is how she's most comfortable. I'd rather she look like "this", than a glamour girl and have her give a crap performance because she's not comfortable with her attire.
My only criticism about her? The blond has to either be darkened a wee bit, or taken away. The shade is not working with her skin tone.

Wait a second, there is a big difference in looking glamourous and looking stylish. If you want to be GLAMOUROUS you need to choose advertised chic combination of hair style, make-up & clothes*; If you want to be STYLISH you just need to think about RIGHT combination of HMC* - and thats NOT hard!
(I agree about Beyonce, she's a hard-worker - yes, but her everyday life glamming is way too much and just shows dissimulation).
Now about Kelly...
Watch her old videos & you'll see she actually CAN do much better than that. Her todays hair colour and her "sunny yellow top" - a total disaster duet. She is comfortable with it? That's great...in real life she can choose it and go with it, but STAGE has other laws.
I bet it's possible for a professional singer to look better and comfortable same time.
She looks fine, there is nothing wrong with her appearance. She does need to fix her hair color; other than that, there is nothing wrong with Ms Kelly Clarkson.

What does the way she looks have anything to do with her ability to sing? No one says a word about the way male rock stars dress - usually in an ugly t-shirt and jeans. It's sad that there always seems to be a double standard for women stars.
women's bodies are harder to dress then men's. We are curvier and stylish clothes look different on our bodies depending on hip to boob ratio and so on.
I think it's the lighting that makes her hair look blonder here. I saw some other photos from this, and I actually thought she darkened her hair.
I agree about the double standards for men and women. Half the rappers nowadays, have no shirt and their ass barely holds up their pants. All you see is their boxers, and they have to hold the tops of their jeans to hold them up.

Seriously is the "hit" rating low on INO to ALWAYS choose what must be the most unflattering photos of Kelly so your comments are higher? Or is it the author just has a hate on for the girl? I am sorry. Most people come to this site to see a friendlier version of the gossip sites out there. This continual posting of such bad pictures is just nasty. I am disappointed with INO to say the least.
I second that. What started out as a "nice" venue has turned to exactly what INO proclaims it wants to distance itself from - those other nasty gossip and tabloid sites that bombard the net. Whomever makes the post (and decides upon the picture) can write as nicely as they want "fake" being as neutral. But it's readily apparent what the goal is. Congrats INO!

INO has no choice but to post this photo. It's from the concert! Kelly's been looking like this in public for months! Why should it be INO's problem if Kelly doesn't seem to care.
Much of a person's physical appearance is genetically determined. She's pushing 30 and doesn't have the metabolism of a 20 year old anymore.If she's the sort of person whose weight won't stabilize naturally on a reasonable diet and activity level, then she will have some serious problems to deal with in the future - and there are plenty of people like this. But this is a private issue. And don't start up with the "but she's a celebrity!" crap. She's a singer, and she chooses not to be a celebrity. As such, she owes the public a great performance, nothing more.
On the other hand, I do agree she has serious wardrobe problems. If the body is not great, then the clothes have to be. What she wears in private is her own business, but she should look more polished on stage. Grunge is not due for a comeback.
I am just a big fan of black eyed peas but not of Kelly Clarkson (o my god, what’s with her body!). But it was a great concert though. Loved it.
