I think this looks AMAZING! Am totally going to see it. I haven’t read the book though, and don’t plan to read it until after I see the movie. I’d rather be surprised by the film and not have any prior expectations.

It took me quite a bit to be able to follow the story, but it was very good, and hard to figure out how it was going to end, a very important issue for me. I will definitely see it. You should read it first, because it will take a lot of mystery out of the story when you read it second, and the mystery is part of the charm.
i simply adored this book. truly heart-breaking (like only the best books are). hopefully the movie will do it justice =)

I read that book and completley fell in love with he story! I have been checking for a trailer for months and finally there it is. If you love the notebook you will love this book. It is not your traditional love story. READ THE BOOK YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I was nervous when I heard they were making this a movie, cause it was such a great book, but it looks SO GOOD from the trailer! Can’t wait!!
To echo all the other commenters…YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK!!! My friends and I have a cocktails & books club and we read this last year. I was so moved and bawled like a baby!!! We have been dying for the movie to come out. I know it’s never as good as the book, but still have hope for this one!

You have to read it first! It is an amazing book! In fact I think I might have to reread it before it comes out! I finished it on a plane and made a fool of myself sobbing. MUST READ!

As always the book will be better than the movie… It looks like it would be a good film if the viewer had not read the book already. I hate Eric Bana as Henry. Henry’s character should be played by Justin Bartha! Also I hate the special effects of Henry disapearing.. they should just make him vanish in an instant not parts at a time. I feel dissapointed already.

I will definitely see this. I read the book a couple years ago and it was great! I hope they don’t add the part to the movie where he gets sick everytime he travels though. I am an emetophobic.

You MUST read the book for you see the movie. It’s beautiful and moving and one of the best novels I’ve ever read. I love Rachel McAdams as Clare and am warming to Bana as Henry. I have my fingers crossed that they did the book justice.

One of my favourite books. I think Rachel McAdams is a good choice for Clare & at 1st I didn’t agree with Bana as Henry, but after the trailer I admit he may be a good choice. The one I wasn’t really expecting is Alba, I imagined her SO much differently.
