Michelle Pfeiffer Put Her Family Before Stardom

So that’s why we haven’t seen much of Michelle Pfeiffer! I remember when Michelle used to be everywhere and was pretty widely regarded as the most beautiful actress around. She put her career on hold to be a full-time mom.

My family comes first,’ said the three-time Oscar nominee, who is
married to TV producer David E. Kelley…

‘I have to do some
face time with the family. The work that I do is all encompassing and
it’s not like an 8-to-5 job. Much of the time you leave before the kids
are up and when you get home they’re in bed and so I feel like I can’t
be away all the time. But now there’s Skype. It’s great and I love
that!’

‘I hate school as much as they do and I love summer vacation,’ says
Pfeiffer… ‘I’m
not that eager to send them off to camp for the summer. I’m the type of
mom that likes having them around.’ "

What’s Michelle’s least-favorite aspect to being a mother? Carpooling. She hates to get up so early!

Can you sympathize?

She schedules films for the summer and has a new film coming out called ‘Cheri.’

Angelina Jolie you hear that? Michelle actually puts her family first. She can have all the attention and adulation but she says she puts her family first and actually does it. She doesn’t go around saying lies like you and then schedules’ movies back to back.

Being a responsible parent is only easy when you’re married to someone wealthy? You’re kind of missing the point, huh?

“Much of the time you leave before the kids are up and when you get home they’re in bed” – exactly. I’m not sure how some of these celebrities claim to be parenting their children when their jobs necessitate that there is no way they can be. Good for her for having her priorities more in line than most.

you see this is where I hate celebrities complaining about not having privacy….when she’s is the prime example that you can be famous, rich and beautiful and still live your life privacy! She’s so normal! I love her!!
