Alexa Ray Joel Is Still A Romantic
After supporting her mother Christie Brinkley through a difficult divorce last year, Alexa Ray Joel is now lending support to her father, Billy Joel, who is separating from his wife of five years, Katie Lee Joel. Alexa Ray told Us Weekly she "wasn't surprised" when her father told her about the split.
'I have a pretty good women's intuition, so I can tell,' she said. 'I know my dad pretty well, so I’m behind him.' "
So after seeing her parents struggle with marriages, what are Alexa Ray's thoughts on marriage for herself?
'I am a true romantic - I would love to get married,' Alexa Ray told Us. 'The government doesn't necessarily have to get involved. You can just
celebrate your life and have a wedding and have it big and fabulous and
not necessarily complicated, with the papers and all that. Having seen
what I've seen, I'll be skeptical, sure, but I will be having a
wedding.' "
Given what she's seen her parents go through, I'm not surprised Alexa Ray has this outlook!

Or maybe it's just better hair and makeup. Whatever it is, she looks lovely! Always felt badly about the fact that people would always compare her to her mother
now that I look at the photos closer, especially the last one, I think I'm gonna retract the statement about the nose job. fairly sure that she still has the same nose. I seriously think it's just much better makeup and hair, and the eyebrows aren't nearly so heavy which helps open up her face.
Anyway, she looks great and has a really pretty smile

I think a legal constitution should only be utilized after both parties in the relationship have lived together, experienced each other, grown from each other and have learned to love each other unconditionally through the good and the bad that each day brings. In today's society so many ppl jump into a marriage without understanding what a commitment to someone truly entails and this I believe is a reason so many marriages end in divorce.
P.S. She has really grown into a very pretty lady.

Yes, marriage is important. It's not "just a piece of paper". No one ever makes the same argument about a birth or death certificate.

Very well put. Marriage IS important... My hubby is my best friend and I just love knowing he's there for me no matter what... just hopefully everyone can enjoy it one day.

I don't think a wedding has anything to do with a marriage, other than it's the official beginning of it. She still has some growing up to do.
