Mariah Carey Lands Another Acting Gig

Can she act? Maybe...maybe not...does it matter? Definitely not. Mariah Carey will draw in the crowds to any theatre, that's for sure!
The singer has just landed a big show doing a West End theatre production in the UK although we don't have any details yet as to what play she'll be acting in.
“Mariah’s done a bit of acting in her time but nothing on this scale.
She was hugely flattered to have been asked and is determined to nail
the part. She is pretty confident in her own abilities. And although
there has been talk of musicals, Mariah has always wanted to star in a
play so this really is a dream come true.”
What do you think...can she pull it off?

Check her out in Precious or Wise Girls. They're independent movies so no-one ever sees them but she actually shocked the hell outta me! She's good.
And yes, Glitter was f*ing horrible!
What happened to "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." ?? I think Mariah is beautiful, she has a beautiful voice. I could listen to her all day. In fact, I have a Mariah day every now and then and set my i-pod to Mariah. I absolutely loved the movie "Wise Girls." She doesn't say or do anything any other star and singer does. So what is everyone's problem. Leave the girl alone. Don't stop Mariah.

It's a wonder any producer would want her. I'm not arguing whether she can sing but she should restrict her acting to music videos.
IF ONLY SHE COULD SING...
Mariah did a great job with her part in Wise Girls. Even the best actors had made flops. And Mariah is no exception. I'm sure she'll do a great job.
