Spencer Pratt's Apology To Lauren Conrad Was Fake

OMG, I am SO SHOCKED that I just fell off my chair.
Spencer Pratt's apology to Lauren Conrad was fake. NO WAY.
HAHA, 'The Hills' is staged...I can't help it...I still love it :)
LC admitted on 'The View' that the entire phone call that Spencer made telling her he was sorry for spreading rumors about her wasn't real. The producers put together two cuts of both of them talking on the phone to nobody.
"Did you feel like it was a sincere apology when it came from him?" Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked.
"To be perfectly honest, I wasn't on the other end of that call,"
Conrad replied. "That was filmed, and I wasn't on the other end. So I
didn't even know about it until [it was on TV]. So, no, I didn't get an
apology. He lied."
But, Lauren adds that she has no regrets about going to the wedding.
"It’s hard to understand now, but a long time ago -- years ago -- we
moved here together, and we were best friends, and we used to say,
'Some day at our wedding....,'" Conrad said. "I just felt like it was a
few hours of my time, and as much as I didn't agree with it, I might
some day regret not doing it."

They should just turn the hills into a sitcom and be done with it. I can't watch a 'reality' show knowing it is not real.

This SHOCKED me. I know Spencer said his apology wasn't sincere and whatnot and I understand that the show isn't completely true. But the fact that they did something like this is a little crazy. I understand why she would want to leave because they are totally editing it for ratings. On other shows (I'm thinking like The Real World) I know they edit certain stuff out of arguments and such to cause more drama but framing a phone call that never happened!? I want to see that episode again just to watch her reaction more carefully. Somebody has quite the job to go through all that footage and find a phone call that could actually make it look like she was talking to Spencer.
I think that Lauren knew all along that she was going to the wedding, they just wanted to string it along- So Heidi want's Spencer to apologize, the producers talk to Lauren who refuses to actually speak to him, and they set up individual scenes so that the two never have to interact. I thought their was something weird when the whole thing was going down because I just didn't believe that Spencer would really gravel like that if he had to apologize to someone he hates- his ego's too out of control for that!
I KNEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW ITTTT!!
WOW NOW THAT WAS A SCHOCKER
