A judge ruled that Rihanna’s testimony in the Chris Brown hearing will not be televised. Prosecutors are expected to call Rihanna as a witness on Monday afternoon. The purpose of the hearing is to determine if there is sufficient evidence to try Chris on assault charges.
I can understand wanting to see what Rihanna has to say (I’m curious myself!), but I can understand her wish for privacy when talking about what happened between Chris and herself.

She goes out EVERY night KNOWING the paps are right outside the door waiting to snap pictures. This court case is the downside to fame. Granted you have to respect the judges opinion, but i mean really? She lives her life everyday in front of the camera on purpose! Its not like she’s being caught in her sweat pants while taking out garbage, she does it on purpose. Of course people want to know what she says in court, just like people like to see the picture the paps get of her. Its not fair to love and enjoy paps taking your picture, but then tell them the courtroom is off limits. There are no limits when you are a “superstar.” If she wants privacy she should act like it, and stop being a famewh*r*. We will all know what she says anyway so what difference does it make?

personally i dnt understand anything..if they had chris pleading not guilty all over, they can sure have rihanna say her testimony.. the minute everyone published what they thought happened that night due to the various reports etc, privacy went out the window..it is too late to even bring that as an excuse..somehow dnt think this ruling will change much..the fact that it is not a closed hearing all hell is gonna break loose.. i can grantee you, the minute she walks off that stand, her testimony will be all over the internet.. personally i can wait and want it over as soon as possible.. i am tired of hearing people versions and just need it from the horses mouth…
Whatever is said on the court room is their business and i always said that she did not have the obligation to explain herself to any of us. I’m sure she didn’t want any of this to be out in the public. as a woman is embarassing enough to have a boyfriend/husband whatever he migh be phicically abusing you. And to be a public figure and having to deal with the world watching is embarassing enough. I wish her the best and that she can learn from her mistakes and never allowed anybody to put her in this position again.
Why do people feel like they are entitled to hear her testimony? It’s not the first time that cameras aren’t allowed in a courtroom. Every witness has to right to request their testimony not to be filmed.
It doesn’t matter because even if they don’t televise it the court transcripts are public record. TMZ or some other gossip magazine will get it and publish it, for us to read. It will be very juicy gossip; we are all curious to find out what really happened. Don’t deny it, you know you want to read it.

TMZ is full of S*** and lies. Just because they claim to have the exclusive doesn’t mean what they write is the truth…their history has proven that. People like to make them out to be more than what they are just because they have a show. They are just like INO, Dlisted and PH. I don’t need to deny anything because I never had a habit of making other people’s business my business. I come to these websites to be entertained and to read updates on my favorite celebrities. Stuff like this is a private matter, anyway. It happened to her, not anybody on any of these websites. It’s extremely embrassing for anybody to go through and then to go through it with millions of people watching. But, people don’t see that. All they want to do is stick their nose where it doesn’t belong.
All I care that they throw Chris Brown in jail and throw away the key – I can’t stand that idiot.
The testimony is about real life, not a reality show, so I’d prefer if everything she says is kept confidential. The only thing I’m interested in at this point is to find out for how long they’re going to lock up Chris Brown.
