Scarlett Johannson Will Be The New ‘Bride Of Frankenstein’

Frankenstein may be a thing created from different dead body parts, but his bride certainly won’t be in this remake of ‘The Bride of Frankenstein.’ Scarlett Johannson is set to star in a new version of the film.

The Bride of Frankenstein will be young this time. They’re
looking for a person with great power and sex appeal."

Well, I’d say the filmmakers found that in Scarlett ;)

In the 1935 version of the film, Frankenstein’s bride was created for Frankenstein from the body parts of various corpses, just like Frankenstein was (only for the bride to reject him). I guess this time they’ll use the corpses of beautiful models and actresses.

Over rated actress, over rated beauty. She’s exactly the same in every role that I’ve ever seen her play. Boring. And she seems to have a horrible attitude problem.

  2. Erika1980 says:

Exactly!!!! Every movie I’ve seen her in, she’s the same person…and not a likeable one either.

I bet Megan Fox is spitting nails!!! Too Bad the $itch is too beautiful to be considered for the good movies.

She needs to tone up. She is so pudgy looking.

bunch of bitches, you are all jealous bet you”re all fat and ugly lol

She looks very clean here. I saw He’s Just Not That Into You a few days ago and she just looked so dirty in that movie, like she hadn’t bathed. Perhaps it was just her character.

I think she is a decent actress, but I fail to see her beauty. Nice looking, yes. But beautiful? I dunno.

  9. Manimal says:

She’s very sultry. That’s the best way I can describe her, I think. I think she looks pretty amazing myself.

I just don’t see whats so special about this girl. Shes not bad.. but does not deserve this pedestal!

    I SEE A RESEMBLANCE, folks!!

I can totally see her in that part, especially with that awful make-up job she’s sporting in those photos. I always thought she was a good actress until I saw The Spirit. What was that? I’ll forgive her for that mess though but just this one time.

But it hasn’t been just one time!

She’s pretty, definitely, but not my favorite as an actor.

  15. Girlnone says:

I think it’s a bit of an insult to Elsa Lanchester, who wasn’t exactly an old hag when she played the Bride of Frankenstein. And honestly, do we WANT to sex up a movie about a woman made from spare parts? That has disturbing implications.

  16. Lizzypoo says:

she looks like the bride of frankenstein here.

  17. tati says:

I was thinking the same thing!

  18. Blah says:

I didn’t even know that they were going to do a remake of bride of frankenstein! That movie is just perfect as it is

that’s when we know the movie industry is starting to run out of creative ideas!

    this. 100%.

  21. Erika1980 says:

    Beautiful girl, but overrated actress.

Movie remakes have existed for a long freaking time. The same is true about movies based on books or comic books or anything else. Yeah, they have become more popular, but there’s a reason! If you look at the financial side of remakes, they are very profitable. Remakes are where the money is at. Filmmakers are taking less of a risk by making a movie that people will recognize. People will be more likely to be drawn to that movie because they are familiar with the story and characters and may want to see how it measures up to the original. I would not say that Hollywood is running out of ideas–because it isn’t! Original just isn’t as profitable. And that’s the point of business–to make money. Unless you are that one kind of corporation that I read about in econ whose goal is to earn no profit…which I totally don’t understand, but oh well.
