Isla Fisher And Sacha Baron Cohen Will Probably Postpone Wedding
We've all seen these kinds of people before...they're in a long term committed relationship, maybe they have kids, they've been engaged for FOREVER but they never seem to actually get hitched. Well, it looks like Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen may be that kind of couple too. Neither of them can make time in their busy schedules to get married!
Isla is just about set to start shooting 'Your Highness' in Ireland this summer.
If Isla signs the deal, it will mean moving to Ireland for a while with their baby daughter Olive,’ says a friend.
‘With
all their projects, Isla and Sacha haven’t had time to tie the knot.
They have set their hearts on getting married in Italy.’
The original plans didn't happen because of money troubles.
The couple originally intended to get hitched in August 2006, and
had even consulted wedding planners to organise their special weekend
in a medieval Tuscan village.But it all fell through due to escalating costs.
You have to wonder if they really can't find the time...or if they really just aren't ready to find the time quite yet.

Part of me thinks not having time is an excuse and if they really wanted to get married then just make the damn time. But then the other part of me knows that some people just don't have getting married high on their priority list and that is totally fine. Its their decision and when it works out for them then great. As long as they are happy.
I agree if they really wanted to marry they would. My wedding took one phonecall and a few minutes of my time to arrange, and about 30 seconds for the actual ceremony. Obviously I didn't have a 'big white wedding', but wedding do not have to be time consuming or stressful!

If they really wanted to get married they would have done it. They made time find a house, have a baby, make movies. The even found time for lessons so Isla could convert to Judaism and everything else that was important. This is an excuse for his reluctance to commit legally.

She's probably afraid he'll throw some stupid publicity stunt and show up as a half naked cupid with his cheeks hanging out instead of a tux. He is ridiculous. It's not even funny.
Getting married takes less than 5 minutes. They can have a party later wherever they want. Plus they can hire someone to do all t he planning for them unlike lost of other people. I doubt they will ever get married. I never see pics of Sasha out with his daughter or fiance anyway.
Men have a tipping point. If they don't marry you after that point (which is different for each man) then they never will. Sacha will probably met some girl on one of his movie sets and propose to her after 2 months.
I will be surprised if these two actually get married.

Lis--If they were "secretly married," we'd know. You can't get married without a license, and once you have a license, it's a matter of public record.
He simply doesn't want to marry her. Before they were together, she had a long track record of dating rich and powerful men, like Anthony de Rothschild of the famous international banking family, who could advance her career. Maybe Sacha worries about being used by her.
If I had to guess, the baby was a one-sided decision on Isla's part--either to force the marriage or because her biological clock was ticking. How many men intentionally have a baby with a woman they don't want to marry?

I just think that they really have not found the right time. I see other people saying they found time to do other things in their family, but you can't just go on that. They probably want to be stress free and have plenty of free time for a wedding and honeymoon. Maybe they want to be in the right mind-set to focus on themselves as a couple.

The right time is before you have a kid, while you still are just a couple. They're going to honeymoon with a baby? Or leave her with someone to feel abandoned by her parents?

Sacha is no slouch, he went to Cambridge and also wrote his Ph.D thesis. He is a catch she is obviously still hanging around for some reason. Women need to stop pressuring men into marriage, it only leads the men to become resentful cheaters.
