Kodak Offers Reward To Help Connect Megan Fox And "Boy with Yellow Rose"

Remeber that poor boy who tried to gift Megan Fox with a yellow rose? The sad look on his face? (Megan has already apologized.) Really was a touching scene wasn't it?

Well, Kodak sure thinks so!

The company is offering $5,000 to anyone who can ID this boy and help reconnect the fan with his favorite star.

In an attempt to foster a new relationship with two amazing people, Kodak urges the “Rose Boy” to come forward and identify himself so that the company can help arrange a real rose exchange. To help accelerate his prompt identification, Kodak will offer $5,000 to the first person who can provide verifiable information that enables Kodak to make this connection happen. Kodak will also cover travel costs for the young man and his family to help allow destiny to take its course, and provide cameras for him to capture the moment.

“It’s amazing how just a photograph can connect and change the lives of two complete strangers,” said Leslie Dance, Vice President of Kodak's Worldwide Brand Marketing & Communications. “If this photo is any indication, this boy was really hoping to meet Megan Fox and give her that rose, and we'd love to help make his fantastical wish come true.”

Sure it's a fairly cheap way for Kodak to get some press, but I am sure that boy will be very happy to hear about all this fuss!  Can you help find this boy?! :)

As much as I would $5000, I don't know the boy. It is a nice gesture on kodaks part even if it is for the publicity.

As touching as this may sound, its more than CREEPY. I know this is a sweet moment, but there have been TRULY MILLIONS OF MOMENTS LIKE THIS WITH BOY HIS AGE AND Non /NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN SO MOVING , WHY NOW? If the boy was half his age I could really understand and think this was cool , too.

Her apology was so fake. It was ridiculous. "I had no idea that there was a child there." Ugh! She is so full of herself.

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Yeah i totally agree with you Harlean.. I used to really like Megan Fox.. and then she spoke and that was the end of it for me. She is too into herself and thinks the world revolves around her with some of the statements that she makes!

You've got to be kidding...surely 5k could be better used as a charity donations for something like St. Jude's if they are so concerned about the children. What a waste of money in a poorly functioning economy

Didn't Brad Pitt and the Pitt family recently donate $1 MILLION dollars to St. Jude's???? Besides $5,000 to a hospitol is pennies! My roommate's mom has to pay $12,000 for staying two nights at the hospitol! $5,000 won't even buy you an overnight stay at the hospitol!!

Stop telling other people what to do with THEIR money!!! Do you want people telling you how to spend YOUR money??

Kodak is giving $5,000 to whoever can identify the kid, then paying for the kid and his family to fly to meet Megan Fox. How is this not stimulating the economy? $5,000 spending money, at least 2 plane tickets, and maybe a nice dinner or something. That's stimulating the economy!

I'm sorry, and I mean this respectfully, but I think that this is something that a lot of people can not just breathe about, I think I a lot of people right now would find the waste of 5,000$ insulting, so many people losing their homes, falling deeper into debt, 5000 could really save them and to see it just thrown around, well I can understand why people would find this upsetting, I think it's just really poor timing

$5,000 could save "them"? They're giving $5,000 to ONE person! It's not that much money! Kodak isn't giving $5,000 to the identifier and every person in their graduating class! The Mormon Church in Utah donated $20 MILLION to take away civil rights in California. I'm sure that $20 million could really save people who are losing their homes and falling deeper into debt.

I think the reason Kodak is offering a $5000 reward is because this boy has not come forward yet. This photo has gained plenty of media attention, yet no one knows who he is yet. I think this is a great idea! I don't see the harm in helping this kid meet Megan Fox.

I think this is really great! I agree with someone above me saying that people need to stop telling other people what to do with THEIR money. get over it, if you were the one with the information and you were getting that 5,000$ you wouldn't be complaining would you?

this is awesome! I hope they find the kid...what a Kodak moment it would be...also, did I seriously hear someone say Kodak should think twice because people are losing their homes? I'm sorry, but does Kodak have a responsibility to help people make their mortgage payments? It's a small sweet gesture, I just hope Megan Fox lives up to her end of the deal...That rose was RIGHT THERE!!!! How did she miss it?

Anonymous Anonymous said:

It's not about Kodak paying people's mortgages- It's about people throwing a relatively large amount of money at someone for something so incredibly superficial when people are barely making it. Maybe you guys don't understand because of where you live but I live in N. California and a lot of people around me are really struggling, losing jobs and homes left and right, forced unpaid days off, IOUs, it's a sad state and I personally just think it's inconsiderate to flaunt money like this when there are people who have actually done something more to earn earn it than getting dissed by megan fox- that doesn't mean Kodak is responsible for getting people out of debt, I just think it would be insulting to a lot of people I know and that it's a badly timed promotion

I have had enough of Megan Fox, she is average looking, she can't act very well and she is a b*tch. I would refuse to meet her if I were him,.
The only thing that is good about her is her body.

oh, so, after they find that kid and arranged a meeting, fox has to show up and BE "HAPPY"? i know that i will get a tonne of hate for this but i feel a bit sorry for her that she is forced into being happy meeting that boy. i am thankful that my clients appreciate what i am professionally doing but i can't possibly be HAPPY meeting them. and please no "she earns millions and is an actor and thus has no rights" to feel certain things. i look at the pics and it's like she is dragging through the crowd by that man holding one of her hands and in the other hand she holds her pullover. plus a security guy between her and that teen.
hm.
