Nick Cannon Is Ready For Fatherhood

These two have talked about having kids so often since they’ve been married…I’m ready for them to just do it already! :P But, Nick Cannon seems to have a good head on his shoulders about the whole thing. He wants to be an established couple so the kids are in a secure environment and then he wants to "smother" them with love, LOL.

I want to
be a father that’s all about love.
That’s the main thing
to get right and at the end of the day it’s just about smothering my
children with love. The same way I do to my wife!”

“I will probably be the fun dad because I’m silly. I’m always trying to have a good time and always doing funny and
stupid stuff.”

“We had our
first year and enjoyed it. This year for us is about establishing
everything and creating a household.”

“So when we do welcome a child, it will be in a very comfortable
established home. So we are working on that and once this year calms
down, then we’ll probably start taking about it more seriously. That’s
a priority, and it’s not just a quick decision.”

I have to admit, that a lot of the quotes that come out of Nick’s mouth are actually very mature. Sounds like he and Mariah Carey are on the right path.

Nick would probably make a great dad, but I don’t know about Mariah.

  3. Lenny says:

Has anyone ever told Mariah where kids come from? There’s no way she going have a child as self-centered and me me me as she is. She’s no Angelina.

  4. Wonder_Woman says:

lol yea too mature for mariah

    come on :

“It’s hard to have kids in this world. I don’t think I could properly educate a child right now. Maybe in the future, but I actually haven’t thought about it.

For now, I enjoy my dog Jack’s company. It’s definitely because of childhood traumatic stuff. The whole not wanting to have a baby as a baby.

I never wanted to feel violated and I know that’s a kind of weird thing to say, but that’s how I am.”

  5. Wonder_Woman says:

oh this one is my fav of her quotes:

“Whenever I watch TV and see those poor starving kids all over the world, I can’t help but cry. I mean I’d love to be skinny like that, but not with all those flies and death and stuff.”

  6. DonnaJ says:

Did she really say that? LOL!

These two are waay too selfish and self absorbed for children

  17. operaghost says:

Smothering them with love? LOL! While I appreciate the sincerity behind the sentiment, that’s not *quite* the right idea. ;>

  18. When I was a kid my dad ‘smothered” me with love. To me it means how my dad would always really enthusiastically tell everyone how smart and good at everything I was and embarrass me by giving me bear hugs in public and yelling out “bye honey love you”. actually im an adult and he still sometimes does that : ) I think Nariah will be great parents.
