Don’t feel to bad for ‘The View’ co-host Joy Behar. She may not be getting married to longtime companion Steve Janowitz, but she does have a new TV show. (And no, she isn’t leaving ‘The View.’)

It sounds like all of this is tongue-in-cheek. I suspect Joy and Steve have been together for so long at this point that whether their relationship is legalized or not doesn’t make a big difference to them

If it doesn’t make a difference, why not just do it? Argh, that’s kinda dumb. If she’s so secure that they’ll be together, why the cold feet? That makes no sense to me. Then again, The View usually makes me go comatose if it’s ever on when I’m around. Either that or projectile vomiting.

Why would you get cold feet at her age? I have my doubts about getting married, too. But that’s because I don’t want a divorce (or two) under my belt before turning 40. She’s 65…one more divorce won’t hurt.
she’s lived her life, earned her money, she has her man…what difference does it make if she’s married or not? I’m pretty sure in all the years they’ve been together, legalizing it wouldn’t make a difference.
We’re talking about a woman who’s gotten cold feet after getting engaged to be married–not a woman who’s never considered marriage. You’re right that it shouldn’t make a difference to us whether or not she marries him. But since she decided to become engaged after they’d been live-in lovers for years and years and years, marriage obviously means SOMETHING to her.
Careful how you write these things. You make it sound like they broke up.
