Cameron Diaz Is A Chef, Too

In addition to playing the role of a mother for her latest movie, ‘My Sister’s Keeper,’ Cameron Diaz had another role she liked to play on set: chef. She enjoyed cooking for her young co-stars, Abigail Breslin, Evan Ellingson, and Sofia Vassilieva.

“I made them guacamole and chili cheese fries and fajitas,” Diaz, 36, told PEOPLE at Wednesday night’s premiere of the film…

“She’s an incredible cook,” came the praise from Vassilieva, 16.
“Everything was very organic. Very healthy. She’s totally cool to hang
out with. She’s so nurturing and took care of us.”

However, it sounds like actor Jason Patric, who played Cameron’s husband, didn’t get to enjoy those perks.

Apparently only the children got cooked for. But it’s all right.”

Poor Jason! Maybe Cameron will send him a basket of baked goodies ;)

What do you think of Cameron’s red carpet look? I’m loving the shoes and the purse!

I have a fear that this movie will have “the notebook” effect on me. I had to leave the theatre with sunglasses on! I cried so much that my eyes were so swollen I couldn’t wear contacts for days.

Guac is actually very healthy. Avocados are full of wonderful fats. And fajitas are very healthy if you use fat free sour cream and low fat cheese, its all just veggies.

well when you generally think of fajitas and chilli fries… lol healthy doesnt pop into mind, but i guess their can be a healthier way of eating fajitas :/

did anyone read the book? I want to go see the movie but haven’t read the book. I bought it a long time ago but just couldn’t bring myself to read it because I know it’s horribly heartbreaking. And part of me is scared to see the movie because I know what a tearjerker it is.

YOU HAVE TO READ THE BOOK!!!!!!! It is so amazing! I read it 2 years ago, and it is still one of my favorite books!!

Please read it before you watch the movie.

The movie was awesome..but it is not as wonderful as the book. But it was done very well!
