In Hollywood you can’t win. One minute the actresses are getting "fat," aka anything over a size two, and then they lose the weight and they’re "too thin!"
Eva Mendes is fighting back at people who critized her for looking unhealthy in her Calvin Klein ads where she’s in a bra and underwear.
"I don’t have a starving body I have a healthy toned body," she says.
"I don’t think people should criticise my advert. I prepped for it a
lot and I think it’s great. It was in the desert and we were all oiled
up for it. That’s my job!"
What do you think? Is Eva losing her curves or does she look just right in this ad? I mean, I know if it were me posing like that for the world to see, I wouldn’t want to eat for a month so it’s understandable if she lost a little weight.

Most likely she was photoshopped to look thinner. Based on recent pictures she Eva lost some weight but she definately doesn’t look unhealthy.

…. Eva maintains a healthy weight, she has never looked too thing and she is not fat or overweight. Of course its photoshoped and Calvin Klein has the rights to the pics so they gonna make her look whatever sells the most underwear.

She is not scary skinny but she is not that curvy either. I’m sick of Hollywood girls claiming they have curves when they don’t look anorexic. Magazines actually call Longoria, Alba, Mendez curvy. No wonder young girl’s image is messed up. I mean if 110 lbs is curvy, 125 must be fat!

Calling her too thin is inaccurate. She is in perfect shape, but it’s not like you can see her ribs or her clavicle is jutting out; she’s healthy.
This photoshopping is driving me crazy. No one looks like that, ever! Eva seems to have no reason for weight issues though.

i think america has the following problem: on the one hand there is this beauty ideal that all women have to look like a sixteen year old athletic girl with big boobs.
but at the same time most women in america are so fat that they can’t stand actually seeing a woman who looks that way. hence you can never be right. either you are thin and people can’t stand it or you aren’t and then you don’t fit into the ideal.
