Fans Stole Leonardo DiCaprio’s Shoes

According to the New York Post, Leonardo DiCaprio was visiting a hilltop shrine in Kyoto last week when some American tourists recognized him and asked for a picture. Leonardo reportedly declined because of a sign that asked visitors not to take photographs.

So the tourists hung around the shrine while Leonardo took off his shoes and went inside. The fans then stole his Nike Dunks.

They just ran off with them," laughed our source. "The poor guy had to leave the place barefoot."

So if you’re a really big Leo fan, watch out for them on ebay. I bet they’ll be up there before long! LOL

while it must be awesome to be a celeb, it must also bite to be constantly harassed everywhere you go.

i saw the preview for his new movie over the weekend. i think it’s supposed to be sort of like a horror file but they played it before my sister’s keeper which didn’t really make a lot of sense to me…anyway it looks really good!

  4. Bubulle says:

I don’t get you. I think this is hilarious. Leonardo DiCaprio is known to be extremely rude towards his fans. So kudos to them.

.. perhaps it’s because of this type of thing he doesn’t like interacting with his fans?

Extremely embarrassing when some body stole your shoes. Some times fans really embarrass celebrities which is not a quite good idea.I think there should be proper security for high profile artists.

That is so ignorant of them. I’m sure he’ll have no problem getting another pair. How ridiculous of them. He was only following the rules of a shrine.

  13. L. says:

I imagine that it wouldn’t have mattered if he’d taken a photo with them. They would probably still think, “Oh, and COOL! We can git his shoes, too!”

It’s no wonder so much of the world looks down on Americans and thinks we’re ignorant clods.

    It was said he just enjoyed hot dating with a black big female on >> I n t e r r a c i a l L o v i n g . c O m “<< , many hot pictures are shown…so many fans show interest on him there, oh, really? It is nice to enjoy more about it now…

f.u.c.k. you blinds and whoever created you!

  19. keri says:

nowhere is safe from crazed fans. leo seems like a nice guy though, he was only respecting the rules of the shrine.

  20. Annon says:

People have no respect! He was trying to follow the rules out of respect and then people go and do something like that. It’s crazy!

  21. pkeeling says:

Why do I feel like there may be more to the story. I bet he was rude to them. No excuse, but kinda funny.

  22. Molly Mae says:

He had every right to tell them no. Considering where they were at, it was highly inappropriate to go all fan crazy. It’s not like he was walking down a red carpet. People need to get some self control. Yeesh.

  23. smcose says:

that’s crazy, especially at a shrine! Although, a barefoot Leo would be funny to see.
