For longer than 30 minutes, at least. Apparently, Kate Moss loves singing so much she even had "state-of-the-art" karaoke systems installed in both of her homes in the UK, but boyfriend Jamie Hince (The Kills guitarist) said he finds her singing "distracting."
A source said Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "When she’s not working, Kate likes nothing more than getting some pals over to her place after lunch, cracking open a couple of bottles and then singing to her heart’s content. But Jamie is getting a little tired of the lengthy sing-a-longs and has now told her that she can only rock the mic for just half an hour a day."
I’m guessing Jamie’s not all that impressed with Kate’s voice?
Maybe 30 minutes is a good compromise. What do you think?

Don’t know , but if bf /professional musician is against it then she probably isn’t a good singer. But she’s home and you’d think you can do anything you like within you home premises.

I heard her sing before and she isn’t that good. I would ban her too if I had to sit and listen to her singing more than once.

Where’s her kid in all of this? I can’t begin to imagine my mom “cracking open a couple of bottles” and singing karaoke with her friends all afternoon when I was a little kid. My mom was busy fixing lunch, doing laundry, giving my brother and I our chores for the day, playing with us, helping us with homework and she did ALL of this while babysitting my baby doll.
I should go call her and tell her she was doing it all wrong! LOL
Her daughter could be in school while all this is happening or with a nanny. Hey, maybe she’s even singing along!
I have a fair amount of friends who are musicians, so I think I can guess his mindset on this. There’s something slightly unsettling about spending years learning an instrument (or instruments, or taking vocal lessons) and having someone act like, “Hey, we’re exactly the same! You’ve spent 10 years studying guitar, and I have a karaoke machine! We should jam sometime!”
If they’re living together, and the house isn’t soundproofed, I think 30 minutes is a decent compromise, as long as it applies to his playing, too.
I agree with you! He’s a professional musician, and she’s a model. Do we even know if she’s that good of a singer?
