Harry Potter Exhibition On Country Wide Tour

10,000 square feet of Harry Potter goodness? I will take it!
Fans will be SUPER excited to hear that 'Harry Potter: The Exhibition' will give muggles a look at props from the infamous movie.

And it's mobile! Which means we don't all have to fly out to Chicago where the tour starts.

The 10,000-sq. ft. exhibit offers fans an up-close and personal look inside the boy wizard's magical world. "Harry Potter: The Exhibition" features more than 200 authentic costumes and props from the films. Some of the items include Harry's original wand and eyeglasses, elaborate outfits from the Yule Ball, and Gryffindor school uniforms.
"The Exhibition" calls Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry home until September 27.

Thanx, but I doubt you'll drive to my house to pick me up... I live in Costa Rica, otherwise I'd be there with ya, honking on every dork's house :)

I would LOVE to take pics and blog about it but you can't even take cameras into the exhibit area, according to the museum's website. :(

Ahhhh! I'd sooooooo love to see that. I'm currently rereading all of the books, as I do every summer, prepping for the opening of HBP. I'm such a HP nerd it's not even funny. Chicago is not an option, so...where else will we be able to see this exhibition?

I do that, too! We started early this year by reading HBP & Deathly Hallows (my son & I) in June. But last week I started from the beginning - again. LOL I'm going to buy my midnight showing tickets today. (for the 14th/15th)

Are the stars going along or just the props? Perhaps the stars are tired of traveling to promote these pictures, so now just the props will tour?

I just thought you'd like to know that the exhibit has grown and is now 14,000 square feet.

There are no stars aside from Buckbeak, Fawkes and their friends.

You haven't been able to find a tour schedule because there isn't one. The next stop has been kept just as secret as the books were before they came out. Keep an eye on the website and you may see something soon.

Also, do not despair if you do not live in the US this thing is going world wide on a several year tour.

Enjoy!
