Michael Jackson's Will Filed In Court

Michael Jackson's Will Filed In Court

An attorney for Michael Jackson filed his will in Los Angeles Superior Court this morning, according to CNN. Here are some of the details that have been made public.

Michael placed his entire estate into the Michael Jackson Family Trust, which is another document that will also be filed with the court today. He asked that his mother, Katherine Jackson, be legal guardian of his three children.

If she was unable, then he asked that Diana Ross serve as his children's legal guardian.

And as for the mother of his two oldest children, Debbie Rowe?

I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Rowe Jackson," Jackson's will said.

Well, that's crystal-clear, isn't it?

Hopefully any disagreements will be resolved amicably rather than this turning into a protracted legal battle over custody and assets.

Is there any other way he could have put it? Maybe it's the legal way of saying, "I didn't forget to put her in the will, and she's not getting anything."

Actually, I think they're legal words. If that phrase s left out, it could give way for contesting the will because one could assume that it was oversight on his part and that he had intended to leave her something.

Gisela Gisela said:

You're 100% correct, it has to be written in the will "intentionally" that word if left out, could cause a mountain of legal grief. Great explanation my dear Watson.

I think Debbie received her payment when she and Michael split. He bought her ranch and paid her for her silence. He may have been upset at her attempt to regain custody during his last trial.

I am glad his belongs will stay within the family

What??? he was not in love with Diana Ross!!!! He saw her as a materal figure. And his kids can hardly be seen as "belongings" (if that's what you meant, hard to tell). THey are KIDS, not things.

Might be crystal-clear in the will, but im sure it will still all get dirty in court.

Good thing his mother does not get control of the money since she does not have a good track record herself with finances. I'm kind of skeptical about the kids being with his mother too. She's like 80 something years old? I think for longevity they should have been placed with the nanny.
LOL at intentional omission!

Anonymous Anonymous said:

Unless I am misunderstnding, according to this will, his mother WILL have control of his entire estate and money (if he has any left). The Diana Ross connection only applies to the kids if his mom is dead.

Gisela Gisela said:

His mother is the legal guardian of the kids, when it comes to the money it's placed in a trust overseen by the three lawyers Michael appointed. The money is not easily accessible by Joe or anyone else. Michael's mother will receive a stipend to care for the needs of the kids; but the bulk of the estates lies with the lawyers. When the kids reach 18, they will have access to their money. This is done for their protection; Joe Jackson would love to get his hands on Michaels' money.

He should've intentionally excluded Joe, as well, because you know Joe will be doing everything he can to get his hands on some of it.

She was onlt technically his wife. I'm sure he's paid her plenty. She did him a favor and that's all. As long as the kids are taken care of that's all that matters. God Bless them.

Debbie received lots of money and a huge house from Michael; she never has to work again, she doesn't need anymore. I read his will online and he also "intentionally omitted his heirs" I figure he means his brothers, sisters and especially his father. I wonder what Diana Ross thinks about Michael choosing her? maybe he told her beforehand and she agreed. It doesn't matter anymore...rest in peace Michael.

I don't know why people are making a big deal about Debbie Rowe not being in the will. She's his EX-wife. I doubt most people would but their ex in their will.

You must have forgotten the horror show of greed that followed James Brown's death. His kids and exes were battling so much they couldn't even agree on where to bury him. He had been dead nearly a month before they did. I can see Joe getting mad about being left out.

If that Debbie Rowe person is left out and mentioned clearly, why wasn't Lisa Marie also mentioned?
I hope they plan to have Diana Ross included into the kids lives right away. If God forbid the Grandma passes away while they’re still very young, the kids will be left yet again alone in the world and having to adapt to another person taking care of them.
Michael could not have done this to his children. He should have left drugs for them. A parent would never hurt its children I’m sure MJ believed that. In that same way he shouldn’t have endangered himself in a way that would lead to the kids becoming orphans and unprotected.

I imagine they mentioned Debbie and not Lisa Marie because he had children with Debbie. It would generally be assumed that the mother of your children would be expected something. An ex-wife from ages ago (where they likely had severed all ties completely) where there's nothing left over and no children would not usually make that kind of assumption.

In some ways, I think he was not very smart, but in other ways, I think he was. He left his father and Debbie Rowe out of the will. It's great!

Sad situation all around. Even though he left his dad out of his will, his dad will still use Michael's infamy to make money off of him. You can see the dollar signs in his eyes.

All that matters that children will be well cared for.
I only wonder was Michael good friends with Diana and she knows about the part of the will where she mentioned as guardian for children if anything happens to his mother

I'm trying to figure out why Michael Jackson would will his children to his mother being that the person he has claimed abused him, Joe Jackson his father, is in the home. I would want my children as far away from that man as possible.

I just Pray in this Life God will expose what these Evil People have done to Michael Jackson and his Family. Michael Jackson I believe Loved Diana Ross but I doubt if he mentioned her in a Will because Michael Jackson NEVER had a WILL, The Will is FAKE and FRAUDULENT created by John Branca to Steal and DisInherit The Jacksons Family who Michael Jackson left as TRUSTEES Joseph and Katherine Jackson in a TRUST, John Brana CREATED a FAKE WILL Michael Jackson NEVER had, which the WILL in itself is MOTIVE for Michael Jackson Murder because Michael Jackson put everything in A Trust. Michael did his Trust correctly, John Branca created a FAKE Will without Michael Jackson. The Lies Men tell and The Evil they Do.
