Taylor Swift Says Her Relationships Will Always Be A Challenge

Taylor Swift Says Her Relationships Will Always Be A Challenge

At 19, Taylor Swift has worked long enough as a singer (with all the travel that comes along with it) to know that maintaining romantic relationships won't be easy.

It’s always going to be long-distance, even if I date the boy who lives
next door to me in Nashville," she admits in the upcoming issue of Glamour.
"I’ll be flying to see him and flying him places to see me. It feels
like it would involve more scheduling, and I already deal with a lot of
scheduling in my life."

And any guy who dates her should understand by now that their problems may very well become material for her songs.

For me, rebelling is done with words," she explains about her candid
songs. "I love to write honest songs that name real people, then get up
onstage and live out those emotions in front of 15,000 people.
Penciling in a night to get wasted is not something I want to do."

Taylor seems incredibly grounded and pretty mature for a 19-year-old, in terms of recognizing the reality of her career, doesn't she?

I think she must be a psychotic girlfriend. And, she can't sing worth a damn. Seiously, have you ever heard her sing live, especially without the benefit of backup singers and a big bamd? She sucks? Face it, if she wasn't cute, young, blonde/blue-eyed, do you really think she would be famous?

LOL i highly doubt a lot of guys would want to date her if they new they would become material in her music, thats some pressure...

She is so annoying and self righteous. Get over yourself little girl you are only 19 you don't know anything yet. And I do not think she is pretty she is all squinty nor can she sing so more or less she is just another 'pretty face' without talent or substance. The American music industry is a joke.

Oh, I disagree with those who say she isn't talented. I think she makes some great music, and I don't even really like country (though I guess she has moved over into the Pop arena). She sounds like she has a good head on her shoulders....hope she continues to have people around her who keep her grounded

She's a guilty pleasure of mine. I'm not exactly in her target demographic, lol. I think she's a smart cookie.

My daughter asked me to download some of her songs on her ipod, and I liked them so much I have them on mine as well. I think she is very talented.

I really love her pesonality, style, comments and lifestyle. BUT sadly she CANNOT sing. I mean, she really CANNOT sing. Just listen to her on the CMT awards when she sang with Def Leppard. She was AWFUL. I mean, shockingly AWFUL. And it was so depressing because she is soooo sweet and wonderful. But she CANNOT sing. Anyone who listens to her sing with Def Leppard cannot say that she can sing. NOBODY.

Tell us how you REALLY feel? Just kidding, I agree with you.

I have Fearless on my iPod and am not ashamed to admit it! She is a talent. I have heard her sing live on the awards shows and am baffled by people who says she can't sing live. She sounded fine...and live! not lipsynched. Great role model- but I do think her inabality to separate life from her craft will hurt her relationship possibilities in the long run.

She really doesn't sound great live, trust me.

That said, I like the girl, think she's a good songwriter (Alanis-lite!), and hope her career goes a long way.

Also, I love that she said, "...flying him places to see me." Way to throw the money around! ;)

I love Taylor. I think she is a very talented writer and she sings fairly well on her recorded in studio songs. Her songs are honest and simple but I really like them and I am not a country fan at all. She is definitely going to have a hard time in relationships tho if she is always airing the dirty laundry!

W.A.S.P.-Country is all I have to say. The American Music industry IS a joke and is only interested in selling "ipod" songs to mom's and daughters... lol Kinda like the McDonalds of entertainment.
WAKE UP AMERICA!! SHE IS ONLY ANOTHER DEBBIE GIBSON minus the mall-influence.
Learn from the '80s and support independent music without the Disney-financing.
BTW she's hawt, Y'all! lul
