The August issue of Cosmopolitan features sassy popstar Katy Perry. In her interview she dishes on her meteoric rise to fame, her search for love and her plans to own Hollywood. The issue hits newsstands Tuesday, July 7th. Here are some quotes to hold you over.

I don't know if she meant it that way, that her life will end at 25. I am not a huge fan but I can associate with what she said because sometimes you need a certain limit as to how long you will pursue your dream and know that maybe it was time to try something different.

she hasn't had any other MEGA hits like Kissed A Girl. her song hot n cold has made some rounds but it's not the same fame as her first single. I'm anxious to hear her sophomore album come out though. Hopefully there's something better.

Just because she said at 25 she would try to find a husband, doesn't mean she thinks that her life is over or something. It's just being realistic. You can't go running after your dreams forever, it's good to know when it is an appropriate time to stop and move on with life. Think about it, she started in the business at 17! It only makes sense. I know Katy will have a long successful career. She is so incredibly talented; her voice is amazing. I've seen her in concert multiple times and her stage presence and energy is fantastic. She always gives 110% and she truly loves and appreciates all her fans.
