Love It Or Hate It: Shakira's New Album Cover
The cover to Shakira's new album is out...and it's provocative! At first I thought she was nude, then I looked twice and realized that's actually just a nude colored bodysuit.
Shakira is beautiful and I love her music, but the straight hair, and the cage, and the Photoshop and the bodysuit...I'm not sure about it. What about you? Do you love or hate this look for Shakira's new album cover?

We're very excited to confirm that the first single from Shakira's
forthcoming new album is She-Wolf, which will be available worldwide
from July 13th, both as a download and on CD. The Spanish-language
version of the track, Loba, is available now.The full album (title to be announced soon) is due out in October 2009
from Epic, a division of Sony Music. The album features a predominantly
English track list with a follow up album of new and unique repertoire
in Spanish to come in 2010.

It looks way too photoshopped and there's no reason for it to be - she is a gorgeous woman! I think I like her naturally wild hair better, too. LOL But, her body is fabulous - totally jealous!

Looks like the cover for her single, She-Wolf, not the whole album. I thought of Madonna when I saw her leotard. I like the cage and attitude though.

Love the straight hair...how does this look photoshopped? I dont understand when people say that.

If you look at her butt, where the leotard stops and the skin begins; in an un-photoshopped picture that would not look smooth the way it does. Also the line where her armpit is, that's smoothed into a single line. Her skin looks like its bee smoothed too. It isn't drastically done, you can still see that it's Shakira, but it's not an original picture either.

Hey, thanks for pointing those out for me because i had no idea! Anyway, I still don't see how it is "way too photoshopped" it is just as re-touched as any other photo on album covers or magazines. I don't think people think about how things are read when they type them. Maybe I take things too literally.

the whole She Wolf thing is that she's in "disguise" as the song says of a beautiful woman (which in this case = Shaki ) but in reality when the moon comes out she turns into a she wolf =)
Her voice is quite possibly one of the most annoying sounds ever. She sounds like she is performing oral sex while singing. Not trying to be crude BUT thats the best analogy I can come up with.

Love Shakira, she is very talented. this is the cover for her Single and the cover is great for the title - she wolf. The great thing about her hair is that she looks gorgeous with straight, wavy or curly hair. photoshopped? of course!!! who wouldnt photoshopped their picture if it was going to be seen by millions of people, heck i photoshopped my own pics if i dont like the lighting or what not.
Shakira soooo lost herself she used to be a down to earth singer with her black curly hair, barely there makeup and wonderful songs (in spanish way back when) then she started dancing , did her crossover and sold herself and her music has gone downhill ever since

The straight hair is not a big deal to me. I'm colombian and i have followed her always, and back when she started she had jet black traight silky hair (before the bleach blond curly hair). i love the cover very different & sexy.
The title works good in Spanish, but in English sounds kind of weird, almost like shemale, lol.

She's a very attractive woman and a good belly dancer, but she really can't sing at all. She's nasal sounding, her pitch is really terrible and she reaches for octaves that she can't manage.

Only reason it doesnt really look like her is because she has lots of make up and we havent seen her with it in a while. Which is kind of the point of looking like a She Wolf in disguise.
even if its photoshopped, most album covers are nowadays so what's the big deal? I hate when people over analyze everything. Just look at things how they are and thats it. You can't change the way it is, so suck it up and stop complaining like little girls.
I love her look, and actually if people didn't know since they keep saying that her curly hair looks more natural, her hair is not actually naturally curly, it's black and straight naturally (look at her childhood photos), also back when she was singing in Spanish she always had her straight, or in cool rock like tendrils, not all Latinas have naturally curly hair, only those with very recent African ancesty (shocking for those who didn't realize that yes a huge percentage of Latinos are black).
She is gorgeous and I like her unique voice. I'm probably one of the few who prefers her with her natural dark hair instead of blonde. This album cover does remind me of Madonna.
