The intro is very, very sad… and very, very true. Eminem’s newest song is pretty personal – bringing in photos of his home town and his inner battle with being an artist.

I absolutely love this song. There is so much meaning behind it. I think it is especially interesting that this is the only song he wrote before he became sober. Anyone who has been there can definitely relate to this song.
Eminem is the worst thing to come out of Detroit. His new stuff makes my ears bleed it is so terrible. I am a huge rap/hip-hop fan and I really hate Eminem’s music and everything else about him.. Huge attention whore.
and your a douche
If this song were directed to a person it would be beautiful.
However, he’s saying this in part to himself. He loves detroit, and peopele of that city by default. It is naracistic. true, and disapointing.
great beat and dedication to a home town.
who sings the intro?
oh come on he needs credit i mean look at the songs he’s done he just speeks his mind tells the truth and jus says things as they are he has courage an it must be hard to do that he aint showin bout how bad places are he’s just showin what he lived with an this was when he was younger
btw the intro is sung by queen
no he jus speaks his mind he’s honest it takes alot o do that he aint attention seekin i mean look other rappers sing bout rubbish like drugs as if its a smart thing bragging bout things that aint right not many rappers rap bout normal truthful meaningful things
I will always stand by my opinion that he is a truly talented artist. Many of his lyrics are very powerful even if I don’t always agree with them. Beautiful video.
He actually doesn’t look too bad with dark hair… I’ve never been a big fan of his, or hip hop, rap, whatever you want to call it, but I guess this song isn’t bad…
He is pathetic. It means he was, is and will be.
Eminem is not pathetic. you are douche.
i liked his songs when he just started, not so much the ones he has out lately. This song though isn’t bad and he video is good.
i actually really like this song.
i want more points!
lol
I can’t watch it =(—em’s
I live in Detroit, and I know Em is really, really proud of where he comes from, but I am getting tired of just about EVERYONE showing the bad sides of the city. ***annie***
I don’t think it’s about the “bad parts” as much as the fact that (like the intro said) Detroit used to be huge as far as manufacturing, and it didn’t lose its status by choice.
Kind of a beautiful (ha!) video, actually.
“inner battle with being an artist.” C’mon. This is Eminem we are talking about. He’s a LOSER. He gets places making fun of other artists? What decent ‘artist’ does that? He’s a joke.
