Jessica Biel And Justin Timberlake Keep It Green

Jessica Biel And Justin Timberlake Keep It Green

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were seen going green while shopping for groceries at Whole Foods Market in Brentwood. These two are keeping the nay sayers quiet aren't they? It's been several years and they continue to go strong.

Just look at how happy they look together. ;)

Just teasing - we all know Jessica and Justin hate the paparazzi.

Have you started using eco shopping bags yet? I feel like I sound preachy on this subject and I apologize for always bringing it up. But it's such a SMALL thing to do which has such a positive impact. Imagine if we all stopped using plastic bags?

Here in Iceland our stores donate the proceeds of their sales of plastic bags to charity...resulting in hundred thousand of dollars being donated to children´s hospital yearly!! It kinda takes away the green guilt ;-) And you need plastic bags anyway for the trash can. What´s the point in bringing your own eco-friendly bag to the store if you´re going to buy a roll of plastic bags for the trash?

I try to use them as much I can but I usually alternate. I do use the plastic bags for garbage, too.

Man, whenever I grocery shop I always forget to bring my resusable bags. It's rare that I ever buy anything that can't fit in more than one bag, but I still feel bad if I have to use a new paper/plastic bag every time. And my city, for some reason, doesn't recycle plastic bags! Grrrr.

Don't know if you can buy them in the USA yet, but up here in Canada they sell biodegradable garbage bags. Also some of our grocery stores use bags (sacs) to pack the groceries in that are made out of corn starch which break down in the landfill.
About her outfit........ did she dress in the dark today?

there are reusable bags which are that thin&tiny that you could just stuff them in your purse. i always have one in my handbag. it's just a habit. some brands even make bags (rolled and packed in to tiny packages) you can click on to your key chain.

at my grocery store they charge you for plastic bags (5 cents each) so you are kinda force to using reusable bags.

i work in retail and ever since toronto made a law that all stores have to charge 5 cents for each plastic bag, i have noticed way more people bringing their own or putting as many purchases as possible as into one bag, instead of having one bag from each store.
but lots of people do use them for garbage, but most people have a huge collection of them in their house.

I always keep a supplie of re-usable bags in my car. I very seldom accept plastic even though I use them for the trash and garbage. You can even get insulated bags with zippers.

I am running about 75% for using reusable bags. I have several, but sometimes they are at home, and I make an unplanned stop for a few things after work. Yesterday I got bonus points on a store card for using a cloth bag. That was a nice surprise, and certainly one that more stores should look into, especially if they are a part of a point card system already.

I haven't started yet Vera..but I do make use of all the plastic bags..I suppose I have been using that as my rationale. See, we rescued a bunch of animals and I used the plastic bags to dispose of the dirty litter. I guess I could use paper bags. Anyone have any other ideas?
I don't like Jessica's outfit at all, ugh. Those shorts! For shame....sorry.

As many others have said I use the plastic bags for trash and just to carry things around. I think most people reuse plastic bags and don't just throw them away.

We're about 50/50 in my house. We have the reusable bags (which were very cheap, .99 cents!) but it's a matter of getting into the habit. If they're in the car, we definitely use them. It's just a matter of remembering to put them back in the car after unloading groceries, LOL.

Imagine if we all had the money to care about that kind of sh*t. People have other things to worry about than whether or not they're going to use a plastic bag. Yea, it's sad but that's the current state of the world and it's not going to get any better just because a few people choose to use something other than plastic. =^_^=

I used to always forget my bags, but then I started putting them on the floor on the passenger side of my car so I can see them easily. It's made a huge difference b/c with me, out of sight, out of mind. I like mine b/c I find I can put a TON of groceries in them, and they're easier to carry than plastic bags. As for her outfit...how the hell do you pick out those shorts and say "hmmm, polka dots and folded, triangular cuffs? yeah, that'll look hot!"

I haven't made the switch because I use grocery store plastic bags for dog poop clean-up. If we had a yard, I'd just pick up every couple days and be able to use the same bag for several "deposits", but since we live in an apartment our dog's bathroom is the neighborhood...and I don't think the neighbors would be too happy to hear "oh, I'm just leaving that one there for now to conserve bags." I do wish that I could figure out a better way to deal with it though, I feel bad going through at least two plastic bags/day, even if it is their second use.

All I am saying is that whichever designer designed her shorts should be fired. Immediately. For horrible taste, and if her stylist picked it out for her, they, too, should be fired IMMEDIATELY. If she did it herself, she should HIRE a stylist to help her out some... I mean, didn't her Momma ever teach her that stripes and polka dots don't match well? And... well, her clothes should match (blue and black? WTF is that jacket?!) and they should FIT HER. This outfit looks like it would fit ME and I am SOOOO not slim like she is... C'mon, girl, if you want to wear big girl clothes, at LEAST wear some that aren't uglier than a $99 Wedding Dress sale at David's Bridal!

BTW, why is it news that they eat? I mean, isn't that basic to EVERYONE? I know they're celebrities and all, but does that mean food is out? Because I mean, I'd like to have their jobs and all, but I like food WAAAAAAY too much to go without eating. AND I use plastic bags, mostly because if I had the reusable ones, well, they'd be icky in days from my Jeep. Lord knows what's hiding in that back area...
