Fact Or Fiction: Did Michael Bay Have Megan Fox Audition For 'Transformers' By Washing His Car?

This sounds so outlandish I had to label it "Fact or Fiction," but Hollywood is pretty outlandish, so I don't know what to think! 'Transformers' director Michael Bay supposedly had Megan Fox audition for her role in the first 'Transformers' film by having her wash his car: while he filmed her. This is according to British movie critic Jason Solomons.
Solomons writes, "He made her wash his Ferrari while he
filmed her. (Fox) said she didn’t know what had happened to that
footage. When I put it to Bay himself, he looked suitably abashed -
'Er, I don’t know where it is either'. "
Maybe this is why there's some tension between the two?

Wasn't there a quote from her not that long ago about the "director's couch" and how older men in hollywood expect young actresses to sleep with them? I guess in this case, it's the "casting ferrari".

I wouldn't put it past anyone in Hollywood. I remember those comments of hers about the "casting couch" and then the blind items about a certain member of a cast sleeping with all members except the director (or something like unto that) and then the she-said he-said back and forth they are doing right now. Either it's for promoting the movie or there really is a story there.
Momster you said exactly what I was going to say. And yeah, I am sure there is a story...we will never know it, and if she got the movie without laying down on the couch, I am soooooooooooo proud of her! That is showing him!

Even thought it is an odd request... I get it.. think of some of her scenes in the movie, it's just her being as sexy as she can be, and she's good at it
..so washing a car is a good way to put that acting to a test and see who well it comes accross on film... ok, and he got a free carwash!
i amazed at how clueless some people are. you don't audition at a directors house!!!!!!! it's totally inappropriate. and a casting director films auditions with producers and other people in the room!!

This isn't shocking, sh1t like this happens all day everyday. If anyone has seen the god awful time vampire known as Transformers 1 or 2, you would quickly understand why she was cast. Run, moan, whine, lick lips, pretend to work on cars, repeat. I for one, appreciate hot chicks... who doesn't?! But she couldn't even save the WORST MOVIE OF ALL TIME. I tried to leave on 6 different occasions but the boyfriend couldn't part with wasting $20. UGH. Damn you Michael Bay. NEVER. AGAIN.

I sirta agree with you, I hated the movie.. but I do not think I have ever seen a Micheal Bay movie that I liked.. I am not one to enjoy watching no stop explosions. I do have to say, the Megan Fox randon shots were a good break from the action scenes.
I certainly wouldn't put it past the guy. I mean, it does kind of make sense as she's basically the movie's sex appeal.

LOL... that's awesome. I saw the first movie and had NO clue that this skank was in it till a few months ago when it was reported that she is inthe second one as well. Now that I know that she's in it I will definitely NOT be seeing the second (not that the first one was any good anyway, I was just forced to see it). =^_^=
