Keanu Reeves The Chef

Yes, please. Imagine walking in the door to a home cooked meal made by Keanu Reeves? One woman is going to be very, very lucky!
The actor wants to become a chef! I hope he means during his spare time because I need me some Keanu on the big screen.
The ‘Private Lives of Pippa Lee’ actor has been honing his skills in the kitchen and is considering taking a break from his movie career to focus on food.
Keanu has also been inspired by the book ‘Molecular Gastronomy: Exploring the Science of Flavor’ by French TV chef-and-chemist Herve This.
I am dabbling in cooking and looking at becoming a chef. Herve is fantastic. I didn’t really cook before but this book may be changing my life.”
Along with learning to cook, Keanu also claims he has started using a computer for the first time.
The 44-year-old Hollywood star has been getting to grips with sending emails and using the internet.
Keanu said:
“My friend finally bought me a computer. And of course I use it now.”
I've been on the computer since I was 5 or 6. Commodore 64 baby! My daughter has been able to play on Nick.com since she was 2 and a half. I can't imagine being 44 and getting on one for the first time. But I suppose Keanu has been a bit busy traveling the world and making millions of dollars. LOL!

He looks homeless. Not doing anything for me.

Just now on the computer? Wow. And here I thought he shared SOMETHING with Neo. Maybe he's just messing around. I still feel bad about what happened to him and his family.

Pardon for question, but what did happen to him and his family?

A series of tragedies. He had a stillborn daughter with his then girlfriend, then a couple years later the mother of the baby died in a car accident. And one of his sisters suffers from cancer, i'm not sure if it's leukemia?
Anyway, if i had all his money, i'd throw the computer out of the window too & spend my time travelling/learning stuff.

His baby was stillborn then his girlfriend died in a car accident. I can't imagine the agony he's been through.

And i forgot to say i'll take this homeless chef in any day :-)
I want to go to school to become a Chef too, it has always been my dream; but money, life, situations and choices have dampered that. It must be great to have the freedom to do whatever you want. Good luck to you Keanu.
Seriously? No "there is no spoon" jokes?

Being from the same generation as Keanu (approximately) we were just not raised with computers. We didn't have them in our schools, our banks or in clothing stores........... no where! It's hard to believe isn't it? And I graduated
"just" 30 years ago. I only started to use a computer in my 40's. Why? Because we were scared of the damn things; all the talk of crashing computers made us not want to be anywhere near them. Funny, eh?

I had to laugh at Vera's "Commodore 64" comment! We had one of those and thought we were the bomb dot com (to quote my 12 y.o. daughter)! ZORK was like my favorite game of all time. And there were NO GRAPHICS!!! LOL *** on another note, Keanu is hot, homeless chic or otherwise.

One of his next movie projects is about a Chef, so I doubt he is doing anything else but research. The molecular thing baffles me though because the script is said to be loosely based on Marco Pierre White's life, a real cook, not someone who needs a degree in chemistry. If one has no experience in the kitchen, molecular is not the route to go because things need to be exact, down to milligrams, or one ends up being poisoned. That people still believe he didn't own a computer until recently is too funny, he used that "just got one from a friend" line already when doing promos for Hardball.

My family finally got a computer when I was in 8th grade (about 1998) and I though we were way behind! lol! IT does seem strange that he, who starred in the Matrix, never owned a computer! LOL

He needs a damn shower and shave.... ekk
Well... I wouldn't care to bath and shave him myself!!!
He certainly has a unique beauty under that beard! And its a real beauty!!!
If he only give me a chance... Oh mine!!!
And to be honest... Who needs a computer if anytime you want you just get in on an airplane and go all around the world??! To the HeLL with "www" give a wild and free passport card!!!
=P
