Penelope Cruz Definitely Wants Kids, Not So Sure On Marriage
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have been dating for a while now...long enough that she can talk marriage and kids and he won't run screaming in the opposite direction, haha! :P But, Penelope says while she's sold on the idea of children, she's not quite convinced yet about tying the knot.
"I want to have babies one day but not right now. When I do it I want
to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life. I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love
and children."
All she would say about Javier is,
"He's a wonderful man, a great actor."
And on a work related note, Penelope says she never stops worrying.
"Every time I make a film, I feel like it's my first time ... I always
think they could fire me. I've ruined my own
happiness and created problems with my friends because of this
tendency. It takes discipline for me to stop worrying."
Poor girl! She's a fabulous actress and I have no doubt that she'll continue getting hired and making movies for a long time to come. Hopefully eventually she'll start to feel confident enough in herself that she can stop worrying.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of hers but she's a good actress nonetheless. I would think that a lack of confidence might not come across too well with producers. Chin up, girl!

I'm trying to think of any movies I've seen her in...I had to go to imdb.com, and I've only seen her in Vanilla Sky. Her acting wasn't very memorable to me, obviously. I think she's very pretty, and I know who she is, but I guess I just dont remember her characters well.
She has been a very respectable actress around the world for a while now, although people in the US don't get to see her very much in blockbuster films. I recommend seeing the ones in which she speaks her native language, such as Volver and Todo sobre mi madre, she is absolutely fantastic in both.

I respectfully agree anonymous and nicole. Ive seen her films and she cant act. She got an award because it her own native movie. The way she talks makes the audiences laugh and she's been in the U.S.for so long and cant she hire an English coach? Marion looks like a transvestite and Public enemies opened poorly with 26 million with a pricey budget of 100 million. Newsweek and Times call it flop. Many will boycott her because she's anti American.She's not a good actress herself.
