Will 'Heroes' Character Claire Have A Lesbian Relationship?

It sounds like the invincible cheerleader Claire (played by Hayden Panettiere) will be exploring more than just her superpowers in the upcoming season of 'Heroes.' According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, Claire will have some type of romantic relationship with a female college roommate.
"That's true. Kind of. I'm not sure about a full-blown relationship,
but I can confirm that the college roomies will engage in a little
sapphic experimentation. At least that's the plan."

Why? why do they feel the need to add a gay relationship to almost every story line in Hollywood land? What is the point? Hollywood is run by a lot of openly and closeted gay writers, actors, executives, etc etc...they just have to slip a gay story line here and there, enough already.

So, it's ok for numerous heterosexual couples to be on popular shows. However, when it comes to a homosexual relationship, you just write it off. Maybe the writers had ratings puller in mind, but in effect all its doing is showing a fairer representation of society. After all, not everyone on this planet is straight.
Btw, the show is written by a straight man. Not a horny lesbian trying to get hayden on another women. Those are just your gnorant ideas.
This isn't rocket science people. The ratings have been down, let's attempt and use our common sense shall we?

I have never seen her show but I do like this dress. I have noticed that it's her arms that make her look like a little person. With this pink dress, her arms are not showing and she looks like your average short girl.

The first photo is H-O-T. The outfit, hair and tan is amazing. She seems to be the only person who does the fake tan thing yet doesn't look fake and blotchy. =^_^=
