Kate Winslet is comfortable with her body. She’s made no secret of that. 
But, she says that she’s getting to a stage in her life where she’s about ready to be done with the nude scenes for films. She talked to Harper’s Bazaar,
"If people are noticing my boobs in a movie and saying they do what real boobs do, then that’s great. "I’ll be 34 in October. I can’t keep getting away with it. There was so much of it in The Reader because the story required it, but people have seen enough of my bum and my boobs. I have to put them back."
Kate adds that she never hadwild child stage in the public eye.
"When everyone was out getting plastered, I didn’t do all of that. I was working. I was doing life. Now that I look back, I feel very lucky. I’ve never taken drugs, never been offered cocaine."
And she wants to defuse that myth that celebrities are glam. They’re not, they get wedgies too, haha!
Our knickers will still go up our ass at the most inappropriate moment. And we’ll still want to flick them out, but you can’t because someone is going to catch you." So what does one do? "Oh, I run behind pillars and things."

I’m sure the picture is taken in the studio and then the background of it is photoshopped, nonetheless the picture is gorgeous.

Kate is a natural beauty. She has handled nude scenes well for 34 and having children. I say cover up if that is what you need to do for you but….
Kate is a rare one from hollywood these days. She and Thandie Newton have similar qualities and are two of my favorites. They are both talented, gorgeous, classy, funny, and down to earth.
Great actress but I’m soooo tired of her interviews. She either talks about her nude scenes or her body image.

I think she talks about it so much, becuase that is all the interviewer asks her, or bothers to publish.

Melanie, true, it’s just that me, being a fan of Kate, and reading all her interviews I notice that she’s always going on about how comfortable she feels in her body, whatever size she is and there are so many other things I’d rather know of her

If Kate was so comfortable in her own skin, she wouldn’t talk about her body so much. By discussing her figure all the time it sounds like she is trying to convince herself, and everyone else, that she is happy with her body. In reality it’s the opposite. I’ve lost count of the times over the years she has stated that she’s fine not being super-skinny. Whatever.
She has been obsessed with her looks her entire adult life, and she needs to get over it. That is why I don’t read her interviews anymore- that’s all she talks about is her body. Boring.

She’s an exhibitionist. I honestly hated The Reader because 50% of the show was just one sex scene after the other, with absolutely no cover up of nipples or anything. It was almost as if Kate Winslet wanted to her 2 kids to see her naked in her later years. The same occurred in Titanic.

Her interviews are always entertaining b/c you never know what’s going to come out of her mouth. It is nice to hear someone who has a realistic view of herself, and isn’t looking to surgery to extend her marketability as someone who’ll take it off on screen. She is one of my favorites
