Oh My Word

Reviews are out and some people admitted they were a bit uncomfortable watching Sasha Baron Cohen’s newest movie, ‘Bruno‘. Are you going to try to catch it in the theatres? Or is this a movie you’d rather watch alone at home?

Here is the actor outside of the David Letterman studio wearing yellow suspenders as Bruno. LOL! Too much to handle!

    I’ll wait for the Netflix.

  2. Juliia says:

I’d love to see it but i dont want to spend the money to go to the theater. i’d rather rent it when it is out on dvd..

  3. Nicole says:

My husband wont let me see it with him, lol. I’ll pass on this because I’m sure I’d be very uncomfortable. I’ll see a chick flick in the same theatre, lol

  4. meeeeeeeee says:

I will be watching at home. It is really weird. When I saw Borat at the MTV awards for the first time I thought “HOW WRONG and policically incorrect!”. But I still watched the movie movie. Many things were very stereotypical but some pieces were absolutely hillarious. He is like…. chocolate with chillies!?

  5. Ellie says:

That’s the whole point of the movie. I didn’t see the first one and probably won’t see this one either. =^_^=

  6. ALmostEviL says:

I just hope he won’t be lost in his character, he looks like enjoying it too much. Isla are you sure the guy is straight?
Well i can only say that the costume is very disturbing plus the posing and i know i know he’s in the character or is he?
to finish up with mu rant just wanted to say , there is no way i’m watching any of the movies this guy was, is and hopefully never will be.

  8. smcose says:

A few people I work with saw it last night, and said it was only ok. I wont be seeing it, I never really enjoyed his kind of comedy, just not for me.

  9. Jan says:

Was this the same Letterman show that he did as Sasha and not Bruno? Imagine showing up in this full costume and then changing into a suit before air time. His skin amazes me. It looks so perfect all over. I wonder do they airbrush makeup him to make it that way?

  10. emches says:

To be honest…I prob won’t watch it at all. —em’s

  11. OutInLeftField says:

I’m not going to pay to see it in the theater but I’ll definately catch it when it comes out on DVD.

  12. AliceW says:

I am sick and tired of the phrase”politically incorrect”. It’s high time we stopped taking ourselves so serious.

  14. Joanna says:

  15. Feewer says:

    Bruno is gross.

  16. NiChar says:

Honestly I don’t want to see it at all.

  17. strawberryfields says:

I thought they movie was gross. I saw it at a sneak preview on Tuesday. I walked out after 30 minutes or so. Just too gross.

  18. a.p. says:

not my type of humor but i have to admit that the man is talented. and his ability to stay in character, whether i like the character or not, is a gift.

  19. ks says:

The best one of three is Ali G in D house, get this one and watch it or any of the Ali G shows,i love his humor, for the once who don´t know, the guy has major in english literature from Cambridge,he use to work for BBC and then channel 4

  20. CapturingLife says:

Omg, my soul mate (aka Roger Ebert) gave it TWO THUMBS UP! LMAO I might have to go see this now.

  21. Gisela says:

Sasha has a great body…the things I would do to him, dressed as Bruno though.

  22. Nicole says:

I know, right? I never thought he was good looking until he turned up as Bruno… lol

  23. DonnaJ says:

Its his legs…he’s got some sexy legs going on there. I can’t wait to see the movie!

  24. C. says:

Enough already. How can Isla Fisher get turned on by this?

  25. gretel says:

She probably just gets turned on by Sasha Baron Cohen, not Borat nor Bruno.

    Just saying.

  26. Monica says:

Yes, I will be seeing this movie. The man is hilarious — a real comical genius.

  27. Anonymous says:

Definitely will NOT be seeing it. I find this individual (in his movie characters) absolutely repulsive!

  28. Anonymous says:

Cant Wait! Borat was hilarous – so I’m sure this will be also

  29. Ashy says:

Totally watching this in theatre!! I can’t wait… I am sure I will be laughing my butt off the whole time!!!

  30. Jenelle says:

I never saw BORAT… but I actually may rent Bruno! Dolce&Gabbana… HELLO!?

  31. jetgirl says:

I can’t wait to see the movie. I love, love, love that line in the movie and I haven’t even seen it yet! Cracks me up every time!

  32. rockonxox says:

I find this movie to be very disrespectful to the gay community. Walking around parading yourself flamboyantly and obviously imitating the stereotypical homosexual is absolutely not funny. I found that Borat was quite crappy even though the whole world thought it was great I just didn’t find the humor or enjoyment in it.

  33. gretel says:

I don’t understand why people immediately assume he’s parading about gays. He’s obviously parading about fame wh0res, not gays themselves. If you pay a minimum of attention, you’ll see loads of them.

  34. Manimal says:

It’s a satire about America’s perception of the gay community and the immediate stereotypes that everyone has. The way they react to him shows how homophobic some people still are. Just like Borat was a satire of American’s views on foreigners, so is Bruno about gays.

  35. ks says:

The original character is Ali G and he is hilarious!I hate the Bruno,Borat still fine but Ali G is wicked:))))

  36. C. says:

Sorry, if my man went to work and looked like this (not to mention being reminded of it on every pop up on the net), the image would stay with me – yuck!
