Katie Holmes was spotted on the set of her new movie, 'Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark', yesterday afternoon, which is filming in Melbourne. It's funny. So far, we've only seen her walking to and from her trailer. No scenes have actually been photographed yet. Oh the suspense!!
The film is a remake of a classic horror/thriller from 1973. Yes, another remake... at least this one wasn't very popular.
A young girl sent to live with her father and his new girlfriend discovers creatures in her new home who want to claim her as one of their own.
The film also stars Guy Pearce and is set to release in 2011.

It's probably the angle these pictures were taken at, but her face looks so much more rounder, as if she put on weight, but only in her face.

Probably this one will not be very popular either once it's done. Who wants to see a movie where the female lead can't act? She only got this part because her husband bought it for her, same as with her dancing gig on SYTYCD. Had she really been good, she would have been invited to appear on DWTS.

Retards aside---celebs dont dress to impress us especially in Katie's case for the evil photogs. This is no date,red carpet event or a special evening but its work. She wants to be casual and comfy to her trailer while she will be dressed up and have makeup on. How hard is that to figure out?
I admire her she's got her priorities straight and she is real not some sex vixen like most women today trying too hard to be sexy and hot and in the long run they appear cheap.
Katie is a such a natural beauty. May I add talented and amazing person.

Regarding the tired thing, in her defense (don't worry - I'll be ripping on her in a sec) she is probably getting used to the time change. I know they have been there for a little bit now, but getting a three year old used to the time change (esp to Australia time, from LA) is hard. That's her own fault tho, for letting Suri stay up until 11:00 every night. (See David Letterman interview, where she tells Dave this).
Now the ripping. That movie sounds like a total "B" movie that Bill Paxton and Dana Delaney would star in. LAME!!!! I'll eat my words if it does well. But Katie Holmes and Guy Pierce? Not big blockbuster names. She'd be better off taking a smaller part in a huge blockbuster or something.
Not that I'm trying to start a rumour or anything, but my face got rounder when I got pregnant, before anything as obvious as a bump appeared...
