Aubrey O’Day Shows Off New Finger Tattoo

If my eyes don’t deceive me, it looks like Aubrey O’Day just tattooed ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi’ on her middle finger. Thanks to a quick Google search, I now know that translated the phrase literally means "I know not what".

Check out the thumbnails and let me know what you think about the new ink.

  5. suffy_78 says:

If that is what makes her feel better about herself, to have a tattoo that noone can understand, well then let her have it!

  6. I’m on a cross-country road trip and we’re stopping off in Omaha, NE for two days. Any suggestions on where to eat and what to see/do??

I’m going to jump on the cool bandwagon and get some chinese characters written across my middle finger that translate to “I don’t know”. Literally.

  9. tbtrfli says:

She does look good here… but come on, she’s the 3rd celebrity to get a tat on her finger “shhhhhhh”!

I don’t have any tattoos but I do plan to get one or some once I find something memorable to put on my body… but I wonder about what some people put on their body and if they realize that it will be their when they’re older and if they will still want something like that on their body. I do like finger tattoos though… if I wasn’t going to law school I would totally get one.

  12. DonnaJ says:

Not something I would get on my finger, but to each her own.

  13. Polly says:

That was my first though, as well. Looks pretty poorly done.

  14. Anonymousinoo says:

It refers to an undeniable quality in someone which someone can’t put ‘a finger on’. Its pretty witty despite her hoeish ways.

  15. Im thinking about going to Italy to become an Au Pair, I’ve spoken with the family and they will even pay my flight to Italy. I’ve researched the Au Pair Visa, but I have a few questions.

she is a true good california girl! it comes with the territory to deal with those who can be on level and handle it.

  22. Anonymous says:

That makes no sense. It’s an incomplete thought.

  23. Anonymous says:

its a french saying, also used used in english

“she has a certain je ne sais quoi”

it means ” i dont know what”

  24. Anonymous says:

It means that a person has a intangible quality that makes them special

  25. elaine123 says:

more “unique” than “special”. It’s something you just can’t put your finger on, usually in a positive light.

  26. gee says:

It suggests she has a little mystery about her. No mystery though, we all know shes a hoeeeee!

  27. Jenelle says:

    LOL

  28. Anonymous says:

    That’s not her index finger.

  29. wizfoe35 says:

Actually that phrase in general use just means “I don’t know”. And maybe because she does not know why she would ever get that tattoo on her finger. It looks stupid.

  30. Riviera says:

Not true. “I don’t know” in French is “Je ne sais pas”. If you were to translate “Je ne sais quoi” literally it would mean more like “I don’t know about something”.

  31. momster says:

Especially on her middle finger…. I mean is she going to go around making vulgar gestures with “I don’t know” written on it??? What EXACTLY is she trying to say?? I just LOVE how all these people try to be so mysterious with their tattoos and usually it ends up being pretty stupid – at least to those who don’t know the “inside joke” if there is one??

  32. elaine123 says:

It doesn’t mean “I don’t know”. I thought everyone knew what it meant…it’s a pretty common saying. The only inside joke here is on you, for not knowing and assuming everyone else was as ignorant.

  33. YAYI says:

I think is cute and she looks pretty in that pic. Im not a fan,but everyone always try to be creative and personal with tattoos. Maybe her tattoo has a meaning to her??. ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi’!!!

  34. Anonymous says:

I think IT IS cute and she looks pretty in that picTURE. I’m not a fan , but everyone aways trIES to be creative and personal with tattoos. Maybe her tattoo has a meaning FOR her? “Je ne sais quoi.”

PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE learn the meaning of the word “ITS” and stop sbustituting “IS” for “IT’S!”

  35. misschristina says:

Why don’t you spell “Substituting” correctly and get “its” and “it’s” right, since you used both in one sentence.

  36. elaine123 says:

…and maybe you should learn how to spell before you dispense lectures on others’ use of grammar and capital letters. (“Substituting” and “always”).

  37. Anonymous says:

Good Lord who cares? Are you people English teachers or what?!?!?

  38. elaine123 says:

I really don;t care UNLESS somone starts spewing crap about other commentors’ mistakes when they themselves make the same mistakes in their own posts. It’s ridiculous.

  39. sweet kiddo says:

  46. yamina says:

i’m french from paris : je ne sais quoi ? means in english i don’t know what ?

  47. elaine123 says:

Clearly, you are neither French, from Paris, or aware of what it means.

  50. Chrissy says:

”Je ne sais quoi” is a French expression. Often used to demonstrate something you can’t put your finger on. Such as ”this girl has this je-ne-sais-quoi.”

  51. Anonymous says:

Everyone is right! Je ne sais quoi – Literal translation: “I do not know what” Meaning when used: “A certain something special that someone has”. The problem is…that isn’t what she has on her finger…..SHE SPELLED IT WRONG!!!! Look closely, it says “Je me sais quoi”. Opps! So I guess she really does have that certain something…STUPIDITY!!!!!

  52. elaine123 says:

Anyone who knows anything about languages knows that you can’t use literal translations to explain the definition of a word or phrase. There is no literal translation for this phrase in English. The only way to translate it in English is to try to describe what the French mean when they use it. And, she didn;t spell it wrong. :Last time I checked, when using cursive, 2 humps is an “n”, 3 is an “m”. I can’t believe I am wasting time spelling out for you what should be so obvious.
