What an odd quote!
David Beckham has refused to shoot an advertising campaign with Angelina Jolie because he is married.
The British soccer star – who recently celebrated his tenth wedding anniversary with wife Victoria – doesn’t want to upset his spouse by posing for an Emporio Armani underwear campaign with the stunning Hollywood star, who is in a relationship with Brad Pitt.
He told’Extra’:
“She is an amazing person and so is Brad. They’re an incredible couple and they have an amazing family. You know she wouldn’t do it and I wouldn’t do it.
“At the end of the day, I wouldn’t do it because I’m married.”
It’s not like they are going to cheat! LOL! It’s just a picture.
Last week, it was claimed father-of-three David and Angelina – who raises six children with Brad – were set to team up for a steamy set of ads.
David signed a deal with the Italian fashion house in 2007, while Angelina was unveiled as their new female face last month.
A source said:
"When you have David Beckham and Angelina Jolie signed up to your fashion house it’s a no-brainer to link them up.
"They appeal to a diverse audience and a collaboration would create so much publicity it would push Armani head and shoulders above their rivals."
David has previously posed with Victoria for raunchy underwear adverts for the exclusive label.

He doesn’t want to do intimate style shoots with anyone but his wife – fair enough. You know the minute they hit the magazines and billboards the inevitable rumours would start that he and Ang were having an affair, which I guess would be upsetting for him and his family. I don’t think he has posed with another woman other than Victoria, so its not just Ang.
Look who’s scared to see her husband with the most beautiful homewrecker! poor Posh, if at least she was pretty, she wouldn’t have to worry.

David does not need to be involved in the media frenzy that is Angelina. And I honestly think that a married man should NOT be posing provocatively with another women. They have 3 sons who are old enough to know what is going on, I am glad he stood up for himself and his family.

I think thats a good choice on his behalf. If that Christian whatshimname ( Seaver kid that I cant remember his name or the show name lol ) wont kiss anyone else in movies but his wife then why cant David decide who he would like draped over him? Angie is no more curvy then Posh so I would rather see Posh in the ads for sure.

Actually, I think it’s refreshing. To not want someone else draped all over you who isn’t your spouse shows he has integrity. I think it’s wonderful. If more people thought like that, maybe the world would be a little better place. Oh, and the Christian actor’s name ( who won’t kiss anyone but his wife) is Kirk Cameron.
There are many man that can take a hint from David Beckham. Respecting your wife and her feelings makes for a very happy marriage.

I had doubts when I first heard about this, David just comes across as a stand up guy, I wouldn’t be happy if my hubby did something like that..
its one thing when an actor puts his/her personal relationship aside and poses or plays the significant other of someone other than their spouse. However, David Beckham is an athlete, and I think its very admirable of him…posing with Angelina Jolie could give some naive observers the wrong impression…its better for his family that the only intimate pictures of him are with his own wife. good for him…I dont know what him and Posh do together, but clearly it’s working.

Nothing good could come from putting two well-known cheaters together. Seriously, I am sure Brad wasn’t thrilled about the idea either. People who cheat together never fully trust each other when it comes to being faithful. I think it is a good idea that he choose not to do the ad with her. He has a history of cheating and she has a history of hooking up with people she is partnered with, whether their attached or unattached. If you don’t have any self-control, you shouldn’t put yourselves in situations where you know you will be tempted. Good move, David.
BTW, Victoria breast actually look normal in this picture.

FYI: Beckham was one of the most effective product endorser in this planet, but Jolie was a failure for the high end St. John clothing line.
The sales went down after her print ads came out. (Forbes magazine article listed Beckham, Tiger, Timberlake, J. Simpson, Kidman as among the most effective endorsers in the world)
