Jessica Simpson is “all over the place” following her love split.
The 29-year-old singer-and-actress was stunned when her football player boyfriend Tony Romo ended their relationship last week, and she can’t come to terms with the separation.
“Jessica was really blindsided. She’s sad, mad, and confused. Her emotions are all over the place.
“She is holding up OK. She is with her family. They are – as always – very supportive of her.”
It has been claimed the relationship broke down due to the intense pressure the pair were under, with their romance continually being scrutinised.
“Dating her comes along with her celebrity and that’s not easy for anyone. But she and Tony seemingly had it figured out. They rolled with the punches and focused on each other. They just lost sight of that at the end.”
Tony is believed to have dumped Jessica on the eve of her 29th birthday after discovering text messages from her ex-lover John Mayer.
A source said:
“They were hanging out and he picked up her phone and she got defensive about it. Tony found messages from John and went ballistic.”
While Jessica has kept a low-profile since the split, Tony has been seen on a string of nights out at nightclubs including Los Angeles’ MyHouse and the Key Club.
This too shall pass Jessica! 
If the text thing is true, then good for Tony. How would she feel if he did that to her. Relationship and respect 101: Treat others the way you want to be treated. Pretty Simple.

I am sooo sad this has happened to Jessica….NOT! I will say this though, she once said in an interview that if she gets involved with any man, they have to accept her dad also. I just don’t ever know what to say after reading stuff like this. I mean, I really could care less about these people’s love lives (except to read gossip sites – LOL), but I just wonder who these “sources” are and if they are reliable and if so, WHY are they sharing confidences of people who are supposed to be their friends. Like their friends aren’t having a hard enough time dealing with what’s going on in their own lives w/out people talking about every little known detail to national media outlets…..
I so agree. It’s so hard to go through a break-up… let alone having your break-up splashed all over the news. So strange! I hope she’s ok… and staying away from the media sites!
I have to agree with you. I really wonder who the sources are but i also wonder how many of the stars own PR people that let things “leak” to keep them in the press… “Good Victory”
Ok… I just have to say this because it is my pet peeve and people always misuse this phrase and then it loses its meaning- the phrase is that you couldn’t care less- if you could care less… it means you do care and you are capable of not caring as much.
I think the “friends” are supposed to present another point of view and help the celeb save face without the celeb “lowering” herself or himself to comment on the situation. You get to defend yourself and try to diffuse the worst of the rumors without seeming petty.
BTW – I am offended by the title “occasional visitor”… LMAO! I am on here ALL DAY LONG!!!!!!
Same here, but I am a “browser!” I’ve been on this site since the first year it came up! i am constantly clearing cookies and temp internet files and it got too annoying to have to log in all the time so when the points system started, I was always anonymous and never accumulated points. its really frustrating to look like a newbie when I am an old timer on this site.
as for Jessica Simpson…I think once she gets a clue and distances herself from her creepy father she’ll have more success in her love life. He is too present in her daily life. I love my dad, but he has no idea what my bra size is. Heck even my husband doesn’t know!

I’m sure her meddling father isn’t easy to deal with. Then she seems to want the ring on her finger and he didn’t seem ready for that. On top of that she runs her mouth off about the relationship and her love for him. Between her motor mouth and her father’s issues, I’m actually surprised he lasted that long. Then she has her new tv show. Maybe her dad told him to get lost because of her new show. I wouldn’t put anything past that man.

Occasinal Visitor drives me a bit bonkers also. I check the site mulitiple times a day! Although when the points started up I was out of the country. So then that week I couldn’t check it. I actually feel sorry for Jessica S. I would be very upset if my “friend” blabbed all my business to the gossip sites!
Agreed on the “Occasional Visitor” situation. I’ve been a member for over a year and check the site at least once a day. Just because I don’t make an inane comment on every single post doesn’t mean I’m only here occasionally!
