It looked like Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag’s feud was coming to an end after LC attended her frenemy’s wedding. But, in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Lauren takes a little dig at Heidi’s Playboy photo shoot, speaking about Heidi’s enhancements, she says,
Lauren was pretty candid as to her feelings about Spencer and Heidi. I guess after he admitted that the apology wasn’t real, it’s an all out war!
"I don’t call magazines and let them know about things so they can
write stories," she says of the Pratts. "There was never an incentive
to keep doing The Hills so I could get into [Hollywood club]
Les Deux. That was never the point. It was more to create a fan base so
I can go create a business and do something I really love doing."
She also spoke out on Swine Flu and Heidi and Spencer wearing masks in Mexico.
"I don’t know if it was so funny because people really were being
affected by that disease," she says. "But otherwise [Heidi and Spencer]
are very entertaining. You have to laugh."
And Lauren talks about the downfall of ‘The Hills,’ and why she’s glad she left.
"The last three concerts I went to, I was removed by security
because I was a fire hazard," she says. "People crowd around you and
you lose that whole personal-space concept.""My roommate went to Europe for two months, but I couldn’t take a
vacation without clearing it months and months ahead of time," she
says, citing another downfall of starring on a reality show. "My
friends all got to date guys who didn’t need to sign a release form."Conrad also says filming "affected the underwear I had to buy
because I needed thicker underwear with a more sturdy band so it could
hold up a microphone.""I couldn’t wear whites or prints because they don’t look good on
film," she explains. "I had to consult a director of photography when I
picked the paint for my walls because I had to have set lighting in my
living room and kitchen. I had to have separate birthday parties for my
filming and non-filming friends."
Of course there’s a downfall to doing reality shows. The people who do them are stripped of their privacy. But, on the other hand, Lauren has had a lot of opportunities with her clothing line that she may not have otherwise had. Worth it or not?

I love her! The comment that “they won’t pay for themselves” is priceless. Interesting fact about having to have heavier underwear, I never even thought of that.
Lauren is so pretty. Heidi just looks like a horse. Lauren also has a much nicer personality than Heidi.
I’m no fan of the Hills, they all seem so pathetic and fake, but of the bunch of knobs on it LC comes across has actually having half a brain….. and spiedi… well the less said the better.

LC is gorgeous. She speaks the truth when it comes to speidi. I’m glad shes done with the pathetic show.
I can understand complaining about most of these things. The vacation time, though? Most people can’t go to Europe bc they’re working, not because they have to clear their filming schedule.
I agree with what she said about the Pratts. I like her, and though I enjoyed watching her on The Hills, I’m glad she left so she can go on with her life.

Maybe her next book should be a Tell-All book about The Hills.

It’s probably going to pay off down the road since she’ll have a big fan base that will purchase the things she creates and the brand she develops. But she did put her young adulthood out there for the world to watch which makes her pretty vulnerable and a target for criticism.

Lauren decided that fame was too much for her, so she left. All I can say is bravo. Not many celebs have the willpower to leave the spotlight–especially when their enemies are being left behind to take it.
If I had to use one word to describe LC…it would be: class. She is classy! Her looks, her fashion sense–the way she carries herself. And she is well-mannered and well-spoken. Even when she insults someone, it doesn’t sound cheap (ahem ahem, Speidi)! And she has a brain.
And Speidi…one word to describe them? CHEAP. It’s all I can say: their looks, their actions, their words… just cheap. White trash. No, not even WHITE trash, ’cause white people can be classy (like LC)! They’re just plain old trash.
If being a celebrity is SOOOOO hard…find something else to do. She totally set herself up for this life style, what did she expect?

She gave her reason – not once did you hear her complaining about her circumstances during The Hills. She’s handle her situation very gracefully in comparision to “The New Heidi”.
Lauren entered into the reality TV world with a plan. So far it’s working. I’d like to see what she’ll be doing with her new found fame, and hopefully uses it for good – instead of fake popstardom and new breasts.
totally right I Love Lauren for one reason: She’s a real person. She’s following her dream and not using her money for things like breast implants and start singing without talent. That’s why the public of the Hills like Lauren and not Heidi. At first nobody likes Spencer Pratt. Nobody likes girls that say their Super Extra Large D cups are not big enough. And everyone is saying that Heidi looks like a 40 year old trying to look like a 20 yr old.
I love Lauren shes a real person. She left the hills because she had another life to live and actually have other stuff going on.
i really like how lauren carried herself but sometimes she came across as a brat but did not lower herself the way speidi does the sooner the better they go back and live under their rocks the better

tsk tsk…..I like Lauren but celebrities need to learn to STOP complaining!!! How many people out there would endure everything she mentioned if it meant they got paid even 1/4 of the amount of money she did for doing that stupid show!

Yeah is gotta be stressful, but is also nice to collect those paychecks she got every season as well.
