La Toya Jackson Releases Michael Jackson Tribute

Hmmmmnnn...

So.... while mourning the loss of her brother, La Toya Jackson decides to release a tribute song dedicated to Michael Jackson. 'Home' debuts on iTunes July 28th.

What do you think about this move? Is every family member going to try to cash in on his death? Or was this release out of the love of her heart?

According to articles I've read all profits goes to an AIDS charity that Michael supported. She is obviously using Michael's death for publicity but at least the money goes to a good cause, supposedly.

if it came really from her heart it would be for free not for sale. but if the money is really donated to any of Michael's charities then ok.

I believe the move is sincere...my brother lost his son to a tragic accident. Both he and my nephew played several instruments together my brother would often go out to the gravesite and play his guitar because he truly missed his son...my brother release a song on a CD for his son...

Many time the lost is unbearable...we do not know what they are going through and you must respect the memories they now have of him, maybe the move was untimely, they lost a brother, uncle, cousin and a son and the lost for them will be "Forever" whatever the motive are behind the release of this single, I think it time for the family to heal in whatever way possible and we move on with our daily grind of a life....! May the Jackson family find peace in the coming days....

I think however this family choose to behave in the wake of their brother's death is up to them however tacky, or questionable others may find it. He was part of their family.

I agree with you. How is making a song dedicated to your brother greedy?

Its greedy because she is waiting till after he is dead to release a song. If she were truly a musician she would be writing and recording all the time. When was the last time you heard anything out of LaToya other than her newest surgery?

Yeah, thought so.

All Jacksons minus Janet and Katherine annoy me, so I'd rather donate to a charity that I trust.

100% of the money raised from this song is going to an aids charity Michael supported which is great but I believe LaToya recorded this song in 2002 so she hasn't written it through her mourning for Michael and therefore find her motives questionable. RIP Mihael, I love you x

This obviously will be a good publicity for La Toya over the sensitive hearts of MJ fans with a vote of sympathy. Anyway the song is touching and nicely done as a creation apart from other politics.

Unfortunately, I think the only people who can truly appreciate a blog entry like, "Cambodia was paradise for me" or "I love London" are your parents... If your officemate, who never travelled read it,

Despicable-- the only excuse would be to raise money to care for his children. Other than that it is blatant self promotion.

Come on people, this is the same chic that tried to sell a story to a tabloid back when Michael was being accused of molestation. She said she had proof that Michael was guilty and then said her husband/boyfriend made her do it. She is crazy!

THIS SONG IS WACK AND IT DOESN'T EVEN SOUND HEARTFELT. HOW IS THIS SONG DEDICATED TO MJ AND I HAVEN'T HEARD HIS NAME IN IT AT ALL. I DON'T WANT THAT CD, I WOULD JUST DONATE THE MONEY.

KEEP THE CD!
